Hi Everyone on the Minecraft Forums, i have A SERIOUS Problem with my Minecraft game, and i need help, IT WONT DO ANYTHING, i have had minecraft since 1.1 and it never had any problems. What is happening is 1 day not long ago, it Wouldn't Update to 1.2.5, it was just freezing on me and then said
Fatal error occured (4) Connection reset and then stopped. I have never had this problem before and now i cant play minecraft, Even the browser Version wont work. I also get the problem where it says Done Loading But then it Freezes. Help Please?

Guys I dont Think I Need Help Anymore, My Minecraft works now, but i dont know what i did lol

Quick-Fix's:

JustaFleshWoundWell, before you log in, click 'Options' (under the log-in button), then click Force Update. Then log in.

JustaFleshWoundI suggest deleting the .minecraft folder and re-installing it.(To see how to do this, please visit my YTC)

ZaphodXLogin to minecraft.net and play the browser version, then it will download fine and you can play from the launcher like normal.

1.Delete everything minecraft.*Back up texturepacks and saves.(Optional)*

Login to minecraft.net and play the browser version, then it will download fine and you can play from the launcher like normal.

The Same F***ing Problem it still is giving me

Then I'd suggest deleting the .minecraft folder and re-installing it. Make sure to back up your worlds first.

Agreed. Also, do NOT back-up your .jar

I Just Tried it but it froze and then my computer crashed i then went and checked my minecraft folder and deleted my texture packs and mods and it froze again, oh well thanks for taking your time to try and help =)

Well, before you log in, click 'Options' (under the log-in button), then click Force Update. Then log in. If minecraft is crashing before you start it, then make sure your 'mods' and 'texture pack' folders are empty, and if that does not work, then delete minecraft (back up any worlds you want to keep) and re-install it. Hope this helps.
