THIEF breaks into your house when you're home alone
What would you do if a burglar breaks into your house at night and you're home alone?
Hey guys
Ok so I need to gather many tips and suggestions about what can you do in a situation like that.
Please write down below things that you should do if a thief breaks into your house, also did it ever happen to you before? Would love to hear all your stories, thanks!

Easy!
I would go up to him and say, wait!
Have a break! Have a kit'kat!
And then I would give him a kit'kat and he would leave!

Or tell him he can save 15% or more on car insurance with geico!
Or give him Doritos!!!
There are a lot of ways I can stop a thief!

Yes, yes this is way better.
Or say, "Thief, eat a Snickers, you're not you when you're hungry." then give him a Snickers

This is why you keep a weapon near you all the time.

Well, luckily enough I have an amazing hobby. I collect weapons! I have a vast collection of whips, knives, daggers, swords, axes, bows, and best of all...GUNS! So the true question for me is, which one would I pick?

I've only seen one girl, who was the main fellow's girlfriend.
1
I'd see if he started sucking up a shelf like in the Sims series.

I'm taking this seriously.. I would not even notice. I am a very tough sleeper, the only thing I can not sleep through are my sibling's screams. AHH. Terrifying. But, if I did wake up.. hmm.. Well, if he wasn't armed, I would sit there and curse at him and hopefully that'd scare him away. But if he was armed I would pretend I was asleep, and let him take my stuff.. Seriously, it's better than risk your death.

Shout as loud as you can "MUM, DAD THERE IS A ROBBER IN THE HOUSE" and it should scare he/she away from the house. If that dont work make sure you have a knife or a weapon that you could get easily and just repeat "DAAAADDDD"
1
Since the police would take at least ten minutes to get to my house, I would probably destroy him with the amount of knives and other miscellaneous weapons I keep in my room/scattered across the house.
1
I would eat him. Num nums for my stomach.

Hide. and find a phone

fireman777why does everyone say him or he? could be a girl too.
It's gramatically correct to default to masculine pronouns when the gender is unknown. It's like this in most languages.

Die. Probably.

^^Awsome sugestion^^
I could imagine my parents coming home and saw me playing with a stranger on a PC with a hole
My suggestion would be to get out of the house(as quick as you can & as quite as you can), get some help, borrow a phone & call the police/parents
Hope this helps

Always keep a crowbar (a knife is great if you have access) or other decent sized, solid object quickly accessible by where you'd sleep. I'd say keep a gun or something more potent, but something tells me that's not the best suggestion for a kid - so a crowbar would do best. If you can't quite get that, a hammer or even a pointy flathead screwdriver can at least give a thief a nasty surprise.
If you're serious about security, proper training or at least searching ways to disable intruders is a good start, as the aforementioned crowbar would be utterly useless if you couldn't do a proper swing with it.
Have your phone and grab video/picture evidence as much as you can, though your safety in the event intruders act hostile towards you is the key point.
Typically, common house thieves wouldn't push you to go actually put into good use what I mentioned above. I just happen to be in a community where the average intruder is usually high on pot or crack and as such must be put down one way or another if they end up in my house. Your best bet is a relatively obvious camera system pointing at all the key points of whatever property you're on... but that's not really for you to do unless you can convince your parents to do it.
How necessary I would say this all is entirely depends on the nature of your neighborhood.
Simpler to say "he" and from my personal experience, out of a few dozen shady people I've caught on my property, I've only seen one girl, who was the main fellow's girlfriend.

I literally just died at your comment.
Anyways, if he was armed I would try to sneak out my window and go to a neighbor for help.
If he isnt armed get the camera and take a picture (unless he has a mask on, then I wouldnt). that should hopefully scare him away

How are you going to force him out? Him carrying a weapon against you, a kid (wondering how kids can survive situations like this)
1
Most house thieves don't carry weapons, so there is no real question about your survival. A thief would rather run and risk being seen than kill you.
If you don't want to engage, take a picture/mental picture of the intruder and wait until he leaves.

Suppose your phone wasn't with you, and the thief is already in your house, what can you do?
1
Force him out of your house, or if he resists, incapacitate him by either trapping him or rendering him immobile. Find your phone, and call the police.
This is the situation for which many people purchase firearms.

I would call the cops, just like everyone else.

Except Texans.
