OK, so I'm a loyal 1.7 player.
And I love the pixelmon mod, but I also love the kalos starters, the kalos starters came to pixelmon a few months back, but for 1.8.9!!!
Is there anyone here who wants the kalos starters to be in 1.7?

All I asked was why keep a dead horse alive, it doesn't benefit anyone
I'm gonna ask this, why does everyone player have to move up to a newer version when one comes out? So what if it adds more things? Some players like a certain and tend to stick with it. Why make out that playing an Newer version rather then a older one is like a must do thing?

it wont be though, there is more demand for the newer versions of minecraft, the transition between 1.7 and 1,8 was extremely big due to the removal of meta info and item ids meaning all the mods were completely re-written to support the newer versions of the game.
If they were to release the newer version of pixelmon for 1.7.10 they would have to re-write the entire mod again

I will switch up versions for mods but I can understand wanting to stay at 1.7 because 1.7/1.6 are my favorite versions. And sure I would, but I doupt it is going to happen.

I just love 1.7.10!
It has the most mods...
I remember when I was loyal to 1.6.4, then I tried to get some mods for 1.7.10, then I got a lot of mods for 1.7.10 then I completely stopped using 1.6.4...

If you mean the combat, that was added in 1.9, not 1.8

I was not referring to the combat system, I know what every single other update was focused on... just not that one.
