Welcome to the Community Village Jam!
This time, with the theme of: Medieval! What is Community Village? Community Village is a project/jam where you can create a building that fits the theme (Medieval). Then, when the jam has ended, all of the builds that were uploaded can be put together in a final big village! Full credit with links to each and every build will of course be included.
How to participate: You can either creation whatever you want - as long as it fits the theme - or you can go to the list below and check which kinds of builds are currently missing. Then if you create one of the those builds, your name will be added so other participants can see, that we have already got that specific type of build.
Mine's not actually too big, it just feels that way because it sometimes seems like it really should only be one room in the back of a church or something.
Our village now has a church (and just 12 hours left!) The clerics of the village need a place to help cure the villagers that have unfortunately been converted into zombies, and thanks to Criticalhit_Mage, we now have such a place where the clerics can both cure zombies, and let the dead rest easy.
Our village now has a flower shop (in the forest) What would a town be without the beautiful decorations, and the lovely smell of flowers? It would probably be a tad bit boring, but thanks to Criticalhit_Mage we now have a flower shop, that sells flowers, honey, pots, and leaves :D
Our village now has a fisherman! (and just about 24 hours left for submissions) Living off of the land and crops which we grow, can in and of itself sustain our growing village. However, what if you could get a taste of the sea? Well, Daswaget has built the fisherman's house, meaning that you can now try a tuna sandvich. What is that? We will have to taste this new delicacy ourselves!
Our village now has a pharmacy! If you're feeling ill, or maybe just unwell, fear not! Aceplante has opened their brand new pharmacy in the village, and ready to serve up an antidote to the "free totally legit, not an experimental potion" drink from the Bars 'o Crimson Ale
Hmm sounds like returning customers. I can freely experiment on them they get cured and the cycle repeats... Now, life is already playing into my hand this Pharmacy is one of the most important additions to the village yet. I think I should invite this good doctor for a drink.
Our village now has a bar! For those late nights out with friends, or when it's just been a rough day in the fields. It is time to go celebrate with some (maybe safe) potions and drinks at Merkucio's Bar 'o Crimson Ale!
If the castle keeps its whole wall and village, than that beats this probably. Definitely bigger than the uni though.
Definitely bigger than my build. I think if we built it on the same scale it would still be slightly bigger. The first builds submitted made me feel like I'm building too big, but I think after seeing the newer stuff it feels just right. =D
