As some of you know, from this post or another, I've decided to start a subliminal channel! I'm taking requests so feel free to comment some ideas. <3 People tend to pay to have their requests made but seeing as I'm new to the community I most definitely am not ready for something like that. ^^

So, in regards to the previous post about subliminals, I'm gonna try and explain what I know so far about them to you guys because I'm interested in them! Feel free to scroll if you get weirded out lol I'm just trying to explain what subs are to those who genuinely care and want to understand the concept. <3

What are subliminals?
Sub/sub channels tend to have (but not always):
A cycle of aesthetically pleasing images/gifs
Lots of filters and added effects
Simple audio like asmr, rain, muffled songs, etc.
A list of written affirmations in the description of the video (affirmations are like sentences you read while listening to the subs to sort of make yourself believe what you're reading)

Themes
Subliminal channels tend to have a specific theme/aesthetic they stick to like cottagecore or glitchcore. Some creators switch their themes pretty regularly and decide to delete/unlist past subs that don't fit the theme to sort of reset the channel.

The community
Like every community there is a good and bad side to the sub community. Some subs can be used for good (ex. studying subs, confidence boosting subs, etc) but some can be used for bad as well (ex. unhealthy obsession based subs). The main goal of a subliminal is to honestly help you manifest or make a certain lifestyle or event happen. Most sub makers have good intentions but there are always bad eggs in the carton. Be careful when finding the correct subs/sub creators, that's all I'm saying.

Affirmations/Benefits
These are the sentences or paragraphs written in the descriptions or comments of the subs. The only way that I can think of describing these is through an example lol so here, lets say you're listening to a grade boosting sub. It might have something like this listed "Studying comes easy to you! Procrastination is never a concern. You sit down, work, and that's it! You're satisfied every time you finish working because you know you're going to ace the next test and boost your GPA!"

The magic of subliminals
So subliminals are really a belief based thing; if you think it can happen, it's gonna. Subs are just there to confirm it kinda. There aren't requirements for listening to subs, any gender/age/race can use them if you truly believe. But some are ethnically based (ex. Korean beauty standards) so obviously you wouldn't use those if you weren't that race. Most subliminal creators specify somewhere on their channel if the subliminal effects are targeted towards a specific gender (ex. feminine body type). Some are meant to be listened to once, some daily. Some are meant to be slowed, some sped up, some looped. Some sub makers take sub requests, some don't. Some take commissions, some don't. Some work, some don't, depends how willing you are to seeing if they work. It's a weird concept, I know, but it's magical if you can truly understand it which is why I'm trying to! ^^

I decided to make my own sub channel as well! I haven't posted any subs but you can still check it out, the channel's name is ᵗᵃᶠᶠʸ༉‧₊˚.

TLDR;
Subliminals are just a way of reassuring yourself that you're gonna achieve what you want to achieve with cute images and audio honestly. A way of manifestation that I'm willing to try! This post was made to educate myself and others on subliminals, not to like freak people out, I apologize if it's too wacky it's 2 am.
