First of all, it's the Adventure update, not the RPG update.

Second, I don't play survival myself very often, but the idea of that game mode at least was to make yourself a shelter and gather resources, all while fending off pesky monsters. Now, since you spawn in and might find populated villages every now and then, and since you now gather experience points, the actual "survival" idea seems a bit off. Once again, I'm no survival fan, but I'm guessing part of the community will want the old survival back. I'm quite happy with the new features, but if there was an Adventure mode which would include these things, I'd be very happy.

AqvaFrog I'm slightly sceptic to the XP system though, and if you really would want a survival challenge, spawning in a village full of people and supplies might not be very satisfactory.


How do you know your going to spawn in a village?!?!
Just because hes near a village doesnt mean he spawned in it O_o
He probably found it during his adventure far away from spawn.
And nothing on-line ever said you would spawn in the village.


He creates a new world, both when demonstrating Creative mode and Survival mode. Both of the times he spawn in a village. That's not a coincidence, I'm sure.

Alright, first of all; NPC villages will only spawn in the Adventure game mode.
Next, the sprinting ability is at least from my side very welcome, as walking long distances might be kinda dull in the long run.
Thin glass makes sence, as you wouldn't use solid blocks of glass as windows in real life. Besides, however does that ruin Minecraft?
Last, but not least; How do you know when and where the Endermen will appear in the game? They might only be on the hardest difficulty, or only in the Adventure game mode. Seriously now, do not complain before you have even tried it. Tell your opinion after the 1.8 update us released, and you might make a difference.

By the way, stop typing capitalized all the time. And what was that about Pokemon?
