Whats your server: I own a network of servers. So far I have SkyBlock, Factions, And Of course the Hub. I am planning on adding more servers very soon. Skyblock and factions are done. Next will be survival and creative. If you decide to sponsor me your server will be used for one of the larger parts of my network (More than likely prison, pvp, or PvM) The network name is Arcane Network.
Do you have a playerbase? Every day I get about 5 players on at a time and 8 players total. I have to admit that traffic has died down for some reason (When I first started 2 weeks ago we were getting up to 15 people at a time). Overall, these past two weeks I've had about the same 20 people join on and off for a few hours at a time.
Have you ever owned a server before? I have owned 2 servers before (not including the 3-4+ servers i own now), this is my first network. In my experience I've learned that it takes A LOT of dedication to have a successful server. Having pleasant staff is one of the most important aspects of a server. I have experience in making custom plugins and I can configure any plugin i come across since I know more or less how they work. All technical stuff aside, It's all about knowing how to treat people. I've joined a lot of servers where I'm not welcomed, the staff are rude or just want your money, or the owners don't seem to even care about the server. I treat all of the people who play on my server with respect, but I do not hesitate to enforce the rules. I am a very kind person and I know how to deal with all types of people and their behaviors.
Whats your idea? I'd like to own a network of servers where players can choose from a large variety of game modes and make new friends and have fun while doing it. Each server will be set up one at a time and tested by beta testers before being published. I am currently developing an advanced chat system to use on my servers where players can hopefully enter chat rooms with friends. So far that's coming a long pretty good. I am implementing RPG classes into all of my servers and i think that will be on of the coolest things my server will have to offer. Players will be able to shoot fireballs, toxic snowballs, rocket launchers, and more. This might sound a bit op, but my plugin keeps it all under control along with using worldguard to make sure players dont abuse their powers and destroy the server. I plan on making my server really fun and giving my players something they've never seen before on other servers.
Why should I sponsor you and not others?
I am extremely dedicated to my creations. I spend endless hours making my server perfect for its members. I know what it feels like to be hyped about owning a server, then making the server, and then shutting down because of lack of donations and players. This is not the case this time. I am pushing forward and my server is slowly making progress. Now that I know exactly how to run a server it's easy for me to configure everything and make sure everything is just right for the people who play on the server(s). I have tons of experience on managing bank accounts for others and myself along with working with CSS for websites. Overall, if you decide to sponsor me I WILL make sure the server you give me is put to good use and not wasted. I don't leave things unfinished.
What will you do in-return? If my network receives a good amount of donations in the future I am planning on donating to multiple charities such as Autism Speaks and Miracle Foundation (Along with a few dollars a week to the local homeless shelter). The only thing I need donations for is to keep the server running. That money is not mine to keep in any way. If the server does begin to bring in tons of donations (I'm talking 100's) Then i might consider buying a new computer so my software can run smoother and I can make things at a faster pace for my network(Eclipse, PhotoShop, bandicam, Cinema 4D, After Effects, Sony Vegas)
