I'm not A furry hater I was but ignoring that I checked out the video because I'm curious I thought in the first 10-30 seconds ohh what a beautiful and nice start to a video
Hmmm... I'm thinking about starting a YouTube channel with a few friends since I have like 6 years experience with Minecraft and have got some pretty sick dream skills. So does anyone have any tips?
I used to make YouTube videos for almost three years, so I have a few tips that may be helpful. The following are two important ones that I've found help videos quite a bit:
1. Get your audience retention to last the entire video. This can be done by (1) having a very short explanation at the start and then getting into the action quickly, (2) using a "show don't tell" method of explaining the finer details that were not covered in the intro, and (3) keeping it fast-paced with a few "breather" sections (for example, a sudden joke that breaks up the fast pace of the video would be considered a "breather" section).
2. Get viewers engaged in the video by finding any way you can to get them to comment and like, as this boosts its chances of being recommended to people by the YouTube algorithm. Even making intentional mistakes in your video will get people to comment about it correcting you while also helping out the video in searches.
I actually happened to make a blog post on PMC yesterday that gave some more tips, if you want to read a few more. (I'm not intending to advertise, but I happened to post it just a day before you asked in this wall post ¯\_(ツ)_/¯)
