Are you currently a staff member on any other Minecraft servers? Yes. I have only served on one server. StormW. I started off as a builder on the day it opened over two years ago. I was the longest serving staff member, and worked my way up to Chief of Staff (Head Admin). My job was to oversee the day to day operations of the server, and ensure the staff worked efficiently. The server went down for awhile until I bought it just recently from the previous owner (my boss). I'm now the owner of it getting it back up.
How active are you/will you be on our server? As activie as the job requires. My other position as owner of my own server does not hinder my ability to work for you and your players. It amplifies my ability to work well with your playerbase. Which I will be sure to get to know.
Maturity Scale 1-10 10, I know when seriousness is needed, but I also have a fun side.
Moderator Experience Scale 1-10 10, I am confident in saying my record proves this.
Do you have any previous moderating experience? If you have, may we know the server IP? Yes, I served as Head Mod on StormW while on my way to becoming Chief of Staff. I now own the server. But it's back in development. IP is 24.126.101.7, until we move over to a professional host.
Do you understand giving players items and not obeying the rules will result in a Ban / Demotion? Sure do.
Have you ever disagreed with a moderator's action? If so, what would you have done as a moderator in that situation?: When I was Head Builder on StormW, the Head Mod at the time who was my superior was being rather harsh with punishments. He had been banning players for, what he called 'spam.' I thought he was being harsh and took it up with the Head Admin, who went to the Owner and had the problem resolved.
If there are a few players began spamming what would you do? While spam is annoying, it doesn't mean the players needed to be banned. A stern warning would be followed by kicking them if they continue. As long as my actions follow the guidelines set for me.
What do you think a Mod should do as their most important job? Yes, obviously a Moderator moderates the server, but in my experience, it's important for the Mod to create friendships with each player. The Mod is typically the most seen staff on servers, so having special relationships is vital to earning their trust.
You have banned someone, but another moderator disagrees with your decision and lifts the ban before the ban time you have set has ended. What do you do? I talk it over with them. They are a Mod for a reason. They were chosen by the same person that chose me. I would talk to our superior if it can't be resolved between us.
If you warned a player about swearing/griefing, and he disagrees what you said, what would you do? Read the rules of the server, and decide whose argument most coincides with the rules. Staff can be wrong sometimes.
