    Hi, sorry for no uploads recently, but I do want to talk about this.

    So.. I disappear skin wise, then come back with a boom, then disappear.. I don't find uploading as fun anymore, or interacting with others on this community as lovely as before. I'm not saying that people on here suck, so please don't think I am.

    I've loved my journey and getting to share it with everyone, but I think as time goes on and I grow up, I find myself interested in other things than PMC. I'm not leaving completely, but I'm not going to be as active, this will be the time I go days-weeks without being on. As for the community itself it's changed in a way that it doesn't give me the motivation to be as active or as talkative.. Once again, this doesn't mean I hate the community, it just isn't the same as it was before, there's still lovely people and such, but it isn't for me now as much as it was 3 years ago. I know things changed, but this change isn't for me.

    Take your time, it's okay to get a break at certain things. I've experienced the same a couple of months ago and got myself back on track :) just gotta get loose and try some things.

    Well do what you think is best for yourself.

    I personally don't know what the community was like in around 2017-2018 since I wasn't around at that point, but regardless I hope you can find some inspiration and motivation even if it is just a rare upload.

    something that irks me is when I get a commission and it's essentially "Hey i love your style, can you make me a skin in <insert another skinner's name>'s style?"

    Like damn it would be pretty darn disrespectful of me to take someone's style for profit even if I had the ability, and like...ask them instead? unless their req/comms are closed and even then don't ask another artist to copy it.

    Hiya guys! As you guys know, I draw a lot. Some people like my drawings so I'm thinking about opening commissions for my art. I don't have a form or info card about commission prices, but I'm thinking of doing fully coloured + shaded profile pictures? It's not official yet, but let me know what you guys think. :^]

    I don't mean low contrast skins! I agree with you on that. I was thinking more the subtle light source ones like this where it has several colours and not only light source. www.planetminecraft.com/skin/late-to-the-party-4845324/ Don't change your shading at all! I love your strong light source and the ones like I linked! I simply mean I'd love to see more unique designs!

    What do you mean by 'normal shading'? I personally don't like low contrast skins, they seem too bland to me. My skins are not intented to be easily readable and wearable in game like marketplace ones, but are rather done on artistic purpose solely. That's why I often like to blend colors beetween hair, skin, outfits, use a lot of different colors per element, etc. I may vary outfits and/or make some male characters, but I won't likely change the shading which is part of my style's uniqueness :s

    Wall posts keep proving to me that the site is devolving from what I found to be so great about it when I joined. I understand fully well that the "headpat profile pictures" etc. in the world are just for fun, but it really feels like it also detracts from every other aspect of the site. I keep being confused as to why the site's community desires their primary shared interest to be "shitposting" or the akin - I understand that it has its place, but it feels really unfortunate to see such dominate the site's activity, not only in terms of wall posts but also in terms of forums and other interactions. The joke dies oh so quickly when it consumes the populous of the entire site and when it keeps running, it honestly feels like a distraction from the wonderful creations and works that are still present on the site. Maybe I am just growing too old for this, but it really does feel like the unfortunate reality of the site's current landscape. And while I understand that such is the present iteration of the community, it does make me long for days where the content seemingly was in focus and even chat interactions etc. focused on that. How times have changed.
