More than likely, since you had a few servers on your account, I would check your PM box real quick to see if you got any messages from moderators about post removal.

I'm pretty sure WorldGaurd also has a setting in it that may cooperate with PEX that allows certain classes to place or not place blocks.

PMC sometimes has moments where it cannot upload images. Usually when it doesn't accept images, it's during a time where the traffic on the site is high. You could try posting these images another time, clearing your cache (that usually works), or trying a different browser. This actually happens to me a lot, and by using one of the three, it almost always works.

I don't think that's really possible; unless you find something off of Youtube (that would probably be your best bet), I only think you can host a server off of one device. You can add things to that device, like more RAM and what-not, but running it off of two separate computers might turn out a lot harder than you think.

Depends on how much money you're willing to spend. I'd recommend Beastnode for first time server hosting. They're pretty cheap and reliable with customer support.

There is a rule of the "50% completion rate". We do require those, who although received credit from the original poster, has to complete at least 50% of the content before posting it. If that's not the case, when a submission is removed, there is always a reason to why that submission is removed by the site moderator leaving a comment or a PM. If you have a problem with what the moderator did, please PM that moderator instead of making this thread.

It's happening to me too - it could be a site glitch/the site just being derpy as always, so it doesn't hurt to try again or to clear your cache or try a different browser.

Currently, there have been no 'new and official' sets of rules put into place for the chat. All the rules on top of the chat room have been the same, but the ones that Carole added yesterday are to, more or less, re-enforce the rules that were already in place, for people who have misunderstood the chat ban reasons/lengths.

Now, to quote rule 9: "You may advertise but only once every 15 minutes..." It doesn't matter if it's a plugin server, or something that you need help with, if it's an IP that you're posting for people to come on, and you do it either A) in the Lobby, or B) within the 15 minute rule, then it will result in an infraction.

A certain number of infractions (3) will ban you for a day. Depending in the severity of what you did to earn an infraction, they are usually placed by the 1's.

If you have a problem with a moderators decision, try to PM that moderator about what happened and try to solve the issue. It could of been our fault for all we know (since we are humans, we make human mistakes).

Same goes with moderators deleting your post; as far as I know, when a moderator removes/disables a post, a comment/PM is sent to that person by the moderator who removed it explaining why it was removed. If you can't figure that out for some odd reason (for it could be a site glitch that didn't allow you to see that), PMing a site moderator or a Super Site Moderator can fix that issue.

Let me put it this way: you go find your favorite skins, and you find the part of every skin that you like and you put it into one skin. Now, that isn't yours because you part-picked, and didn't make any of the content on the skin by yourself.

It's the same idea with mods. It's not allowed because the parts you're picking are made by someone else/by a program. You didn't code it, put your sweat, blood, and tears in it. Using things like that is taking the easy way out.

A server can only 'bump' to the top every 24 hours. You have to be sure that you're past that 24 hour mark in order to bump your post again.

There was just recently three or so contests; as Snowy has posted above, a vote has been made... all we really have to do is wait. I'm sure a lot of people have been brain-dead from the amount of contests that have been held recently!

Try out the plugin WorldGuard. You can ban certain items from certain ranks, and so, you can ban all those items besides the ones you want.

Be sure when uploading your avatar (as how-to listed above) to have the right dimensions for the picture. Sometimes the site doesn't like images that are too big, and I think the biggest limit is 200x200. You can easily change that if you go into Paint and re-size the photo.

Bukkit is very easy to use and is integrated with many servers. It will help with plugin compatibility, so I recommend using it if you're planning on running a server for any purpose.

If it keeps saying 'saving...' then it's most likely the site being slow. You could possibly upload your server at another time, maybe when the site traffic is low or when the site isn't being slow.

You'll probably have to go to your e-mail folder and search for key words like 'Planet Minecraft'. If you find an e-mail about the password change from whatever e-mail address you were using, that should help you with your previous account issue.

I would have to say that it isn't currently a top priority, but it definitely is a helpful reminder that there does need to be some renovations or updates to certain parts of the website. Stuff like that will be done when other issues have been solved first.

As someone who has changed their name, I PM'd Paril about it. But, you have to have a good reason to do so. You can't change your name to change your reputation on PMC, or to make a new image for yourself.

You should be able to 'update' your server once every 24 hours to get it to the front of the page. Press the 'bump' button in the editing section. If that doesn't work, be sure to double check your IP and other content.
