Procedural Metropolis: recap!

After 5 days from its release, let's do a recap of the situation :)
The Procedural Metropolis has been a real success, having already reached more than 100 diamonds and almost 500 downloads.
Can you imagine all the different cities that exist right now in the world?


Thanks again for all the comments, messages and positive feedback received, it really makes it worth it!

The Hall of Fame
Also, there's already a name on the Hall of Fame!
Congratulations to MPendragon413 who succeeded in finding the "THING" I hid in the vast city. He has been very smart and persistent in winning in less than 24 hrs after the release.
Will others be able to succeed too?

Now what?
Well, the city is complete, but there are still some things I'd like to add, like decorations on the roads and I also want to experiment and optimize certain advanced configurations of the whole architecture, this to increase house shape variety and the whole structure of the average road network.

But before that, I'm working on another project, a smaller one. I can't tell you much for now because it's still quite secret, but it isn't a self replicating machine, technically, it's something new, never seen before for sure. I'm still not sure about what to do with it but I see potential. I would've never thought to see in this game something like what I'm witnessing now in the KS project.

Procedural Metropolis releasing today!

Follow the stream event today at 16.00EST - 22.00CET on twitch.tv/gheppio to be part of the interactive presentation of the Procedural Metropolis, a self-building urban environment with more than 300 buildings from over 50 different builders.

While you're waiting, take a look back at the first announcement trailer for the Infinity project, where everything begun, it was also featured on the PMC Weekly of August 17th 2019.
As you can see it was very mysterious!

Procedural Metropolis release and presentation stream!

Keep calm! The city is not finished yet, and there's still a lot to do for me.
Anyway, I estimate that it'll be completed in a week!

Contest results... and admissions to the Infinity Project!

Yesterday the Procedural Metropolis - Contemporary edition contest finally concluded and the final leaderboard has been revealed.
Congratulations to Creation Manufactory, Sketchzi and window456123 for taking the first three places, and my compliments also to all the other fantastic submissions!
Anyways, the fun is not over yet: check your private messages, those of you which have been selected to be part of the
Infinity Project will have received one of these certificates of admission, they come with a unique serial number too.
Be warned, it'will require some time to prepare a city with so many buildings, but I'll keep you updated regularly via wall posts.
Let the assembly of the procedural metropolis begin!

Hello everybody!
I'm writing this to inform you that I'm finalizing the last details of the Infinity engine that I'm preparing for the Procedural Metropolis project contest! At the moment I'm performing some fine tuning and generating a batch of testing worlds to see if I'm satisfied with the final result in terms of urban tissue structure.

At the moment the engine contains only my example builds, but in the future the city will be filled with the buildings of all the admitted participants, who knows, yours maybe :)

Please notice the Seed, that generated everything in the present world.
