Past experience in this position: I was a Manager for a upcoming network server that got shut down, and was an Owner of my own OP Prison Sever. I was in the development for my own Network server, but due to the lack of time at that time, and my plugin developer leaving due to personal reasons, I had to shut down both servers. I was a Co-Owner on 2 servers called "DiamondCraft" and "StormPVP" which were small servers that I got my experience from. I was also the only Moderator and Admin (Later got promoted) on a server called "TankPVP" in which Skydoesminecraft had played on before. I managed the staff, which was myself and the Owner, and the Owner was rarely ever on, so I managed the whole server by myself.
Can you successfully manage our network's development team:I believe I can successfully manage your Network's Development Team. Like I said before I had my own server that was pretty big. I know what it takes to be a team member, and how to manage a whole staff. I had a plugin developer, and we worked together on plugins that would be good for the server, also, while I planned the server, managed the staff, and made sure that the players were happy all at once. It's a stressful job for most, but being away from it for so long, I want to get back on the job and see what it's like to take charge and be a leader for a community.
Strategies to manage a development team: I believe in making the staff feel excited and joyed to come be apart of the Developmental team, however, I am pretty strict as some people would say. I believe that a groundwork of rules needs to be set, and if they break the rules, there will be a consequence. I don't like for staff to feel overpowered and on a power high just because they are apart of a staff. I have had staff members who belittled my own players because they were staff. I believe that if a groundwork of rules are set, but also make sure that they are doing their job, and having fun all at once, that's all that matters.
Do you have the ability to check a developers plugin: I do, when I had my own plugin developer, I had another server that I created using Bukkit, and I would put the plugin on that server and test around with it for around 30 minutes, and than if I liked it, or felt that it worked well, I put it on my main server, and we worked with commands and controls, to make sure that everyone who needs it, can use it.
Do you understand plugins: I understand plugins, on how they work. I'm good at finding commands that would help me understand the plugin well, and on how to use it. If I don't know how a plugin works, I would go to there forum, or go to YouTube to look up a tutorial on how it works, so I have a better understanding. I don't understand plugins however, on how to create them, and modify them.
Tell us a bit about yourself: I am a young teenager in High School. Even though, I am very young, I have a lot of experience for running a server, and a team. I had my first server when I was 12 and my friends and I just played on it for fun. When it came to my 14th birthday, I opened my Prison server, and it got pretty successful. As a person, I am very shy when I first meet you. I don't talk a lot and I am a huge introvert. When you get to know me however, I bust out of my shell and become a loud and very "interesting" person to talk to. I never shut up really, and just like to make others laugh and have fun. Like I said before, I am in High School. I was part of the Football team, and now I have a lot more time dedicated to play Games, do homework, or both. I love minecraft, it has a special place in my heart, and I haven't ran a server in a while. I am always playing servers, and now I want to really be apart of the sever. That's why I love new upcoming servers, because I love to see the up rising of a server and watch it grow in front of my eyes.
What can you bring to this network: I believe I can bring my "Youngness" to the server and make the younger people enjoy the server, while I can connect to them. Every server I go on, the younger people always get made fun of, and I believe that, that is just not fair. I believe I can bring my Fun, and high spirits to the server. I love to make people laugh, and make sure that people are having fun. Lastly, I believe I can bring my experience to the server, and my leadership skills. Like I have mentioned around 1000 times, and I bet you guys are sick of hearing it, I know how to make a staff get a long, and make sure they know how to do the work. I have been apart of so many servers, and I have never been apart of a Network server. My passion, drive, leadership, all come into play, and I would love to be apart of your guys' team!
