Day 37: Important Announcement

1.20.5 is coming out!

It bring a few changes and additions including the wolf variants and armadillos and other small stuff BUT:

It brings HUGE technical changes that will probably break 85% of data packs, including mine.

This means that most of my data packs won't work on 1.20.5.

Data packs that will definitely not work: SGrave, Duplication with Star (previously known as Nether Star Duplication) and Cheaper name tags.
Other data packs might break too.

It will take a long time to upgrade my data packs to 1.20.5, but don't worry, feel free to use the automated tools that upgrade data packs to 1.20.5, that might work!

My datapacks and the 1.20.5 update

1.20.5 releases next week. I believe I have my most popular datapacks prepared for the update (cuttable wood, better stonecutter, more compostable items). so hopefully those should be updated in the following days of the release. After that, it may take a week or two to update the rest of them. A lot of things changed in the technical side, so be patient!

No. The reason Minecraft gets boring is because you're just not creative enough.

Also the lore is that end is not supposed to be a crazy dimension. It's supposed to be just a silent dimension where no one would like to live.

Overall, I think that an end update just won't fit Minecraft well enough, unlike the Nether update.

1. Like everything you would imagine. Basically 1.16 but for the end. Not EXACT RECOLOR, but the concepts. Maybe some stuff from mods. And MCD - End here is EXACTLY how I always wanted it to be.

2. What lore? WHAT LORE? End is always depicted ast the villain, but aside from the Orb of Dominance it isn't that evil. Endermen? Mostly neutral. Shulkers? Pacifist while in peaceful mode. Endermites? They are pests, even Endermen want their doom. The dragon? It's angry, scared of us. She acts in self defense. We kill Ender Dragon for basically no reason, let alone any lore. There are Ender Dragon heads for sure, but is Jean really the last dragon? And OoD doesn't have ANY background story. It just exists with no reason and unsubstantiated goal.

3. Idk the Mojang stuff they always do. Some small additions to all 3 dimensions, perhaps.

BONUS: You know why Minecraft gets more and more boring? (you can throw stones at me I don't care) Because Mojang adds too much early- and mid-game content. We need more post-dragon content and any post-elytra stuff too.

Doesn't it somewhat mess with the lore?
What would Mojang do after the end update?

The European Commission has just announced an agreement whereby English will be the official language of the European Union rather than German, which was the other possibility.

As part of the negotiations, the British Government conceded that English spelling had some room for improvement and has accepted a 5- year phase-in plan that would become known as "Euro-English".

In the first year, "s" will replace the soft "c". Sertainly, this will make the sivil servants jump with joy. The hard "c" will be dropped in favour of "k". This should klear up konfusion, and keyboards kan have one less letter.

There will be growing publik enthusiasm in the sekond year when the troublesome "ph" will be replaced with "f". This will make words like fotograf 20% shorter.

In the 3rd year, publik akseptanse of the new spelling kan be expekted to reach the stage where more komplikated changes are possible.

Governments will enkourage the removal of double letters which have always ben a deterent to akurate speling.

Also, al wil agre that the horibl mes of the silent "e" in the languag is disgrasful and it should go away.

By the 4th yer peopl wil be reseptiv to steps such as replasing "th" with "z" and "w" with "v".
