For the few who might follow ERPG's updates from my profile instead of through Discord, I feel I should give a progress report on ERPG 1.2 - the augmentation update.

So far, dev versions are only about 1/2 of the way finished. I'm working on uprooting the current augmentation system and replacing it entirely with a brand new one that will allow for more freedom (and power) than the current system. Of note, new features will include a dedicated block for augmentation, and each item will be able to hold THREE augments instead of just one. Two of an item's augments will be similar to those that already exist - these are called "minor" augmentations, while the final one you slot on an item will give it special effects that can change how you play!

There's also a slew of other changes coming to the pack, as there will need to be a significant rebalance to it in order to maintain a reasonable amount of quality.

If you'd like to be more informed of the pack's development, or have suggestions, please join the Discord!

Thanks for your patience, I hope this will be a HUGE update.

In an attempt to maintain compatibility, the next update for ERPG will likely release *after* 1.16. This is because of the internal changes to item attributes that Mojang added to snapshot 20w14a. As a heads up, all future updates to ERPG will only support 1.16+, although I may be able to back-port future major updates to work in 1.14/15 if there is enough demand.

I will also *not* be able to convert attribute items (many relics and all augmented items) from 1.14/15 to work properly in 1.16 versions. Hopefully, Mojang will be kind enough to add a save conversion feature that can transfer all old items properly before 1.16 officially launches.

Preview of some non-augment related changes upcoming to E-RPG:

-Rebalance of the distribution of Essence Points; Scavenger should no longer be the only option for early game builds.
-In particular, ore drops have seen an overhaul.
-Fixes to Erupt and Brace from update branch 0.8.2 are present.
-Rejuvenate has been buffed, becoming more useful in all of its usecases.
-Empowerment sounds now play to all nearby players, not just the one who used them.
-Rebalanced some relics (old drops are not affected)
-Most notably, Bold and Bash have been reworked, making them more fair to fight against.
-Bold no longer drops 99% of the time, making it more valuable. The old drop rate was an oversight. Whoops!
-Reworked chest loot generation so that naturally generated EP in loot chests are less obnoxious to pick up.

Was finally able to do the first multiplayer test for E-RPG, and with it I have discovered two previously unreported bugs. They are fixed in the current development branch of the game (0.9.0 pre-3), and I will revise the release branch to contain these fixes before the Augment update goes live.

    The bugs in question:
-Brace's cooldown, when triggered by one player, applied to *everyone*.
-Erupt empowerment did not properly initialize in the release build, making it useless in most cases.

Assuming I am not immensely busy with life tomorrow, these fixes will be live tomorrow.

Currently 1/3 of the way done with Essence RPG's Gear Augmentation update!
The current plan is to allow players to modify any piece of gear in favor of their preferred archetype. There will be over 440 unique gear results from augmentation!
