uhm. I can remember alpha, and beta, the EXTREME DIFFICULTY OF FINDING COAL BEFORE YOU DIE IN THE NIGHT!!! and how zombies could hit you from miles away.. ahh.. the good old days. I would like to see the difficulty of survival.. get harder.
I'd like to see melons growing in the wild.
For example: more mobs! less iron! more mineshafts and ravines to add to the adventurousness of minecraft. I would also like to see new classes of bows ! like some sort of new tree that is quite rare, but makes planks as tough as obsidian (have to break with diamond axe) and can make a really good bow.
I also think that Mojang made getting XP a bit too easy and that lowering the Max enchantment to 30.. naw. I didnt like that.
New items I would like to see in 1.4 or later : -Emerald armour/tools/weapons -Ruby? -more passive mobs like.. idk.. horses? -More hostile mobs like maybe something that is actually nearly as hard to kill as something in full iron?

I don't see anything wrong about joining servers at the moment.. But when you go to the multiplayer menu, make sure that you do "add server" instead of "direct connect" its just much easier. You might be having a similar problem to me that I am having on a few servers i tried, for some reason every time I die i get disconnected from the server then can't get back in. I'm sorry i cant really help much with this.
oh yeahh.. I do have a server by the way. But I've got this problem.. Every time I die I seem to be unable to get back into the server unless I reset the player data inside the server folder.. confusing stuff.
