Yeah, I wanted to make this thread to see if anyone could possibly help me with coming up with a layout or general idea of a custom gaming PC. I started to think about making one when my friend made his own PC for $600 that played much better games (and better performance overall) than a $1000 Mac. (Yes, I use a Mac because my old PC broke and my parents decided a Mac was better) ((My love for Windows has grown since this experience ))

I've realized that being able to run Minecraft with all the mods and resource packs that I love at 100+ fps on a Mac does not compare to the amount of games that are only available to a Windows PC.

Since I am relatively new to the whole concept of making a custom PC (as opposed to buying a premade one), I have decided to ask you people of PMC to help conjure some magical gaming PC with a relatively lower cost (around $500-800).

Even though I might not actually go out and buy this said gaming PC suggested by you guys, it would be a good reference for when I do think about making my own custom gaming PC.

If you want to pay more money then necessary, then go ahead and build the PC. But if you only want to pay a small amount of money, then buy Bootcamp for Mac. It is basically a program that allows you to run Windows on a Mac, therefore being able to play "Windows only" games. Your problem is now solved.

If you honestly want to build a gaming PC, that's all right too, especially if you want two computers. I am not exactly sure how, but I'm positive there are tutorials on YouTube that would easily help you. I'm pretty sure it differentiates depending on the parts you have, but some searching around will probably help you.

If he's running a 24/7 hosted server, he accesses via internet browser with a password. He can give the password to people and they can access the console as well.

What do you mean "design"? I can't code, so I know for sure I cant give you the structure, but I can do graphics design things if that's what you're talking about.

I was surfing YouTube when I came across the Yogscast. "This is pretty cool..." I thought to myself. I then found other people playing it, started watching their let's plays, and eventually got the game. Been playing it for over a year, still enjoy it a lot.
