Remember when I made content lol

Every single time I actually get around to checking the community's recent activity out, I feel shocked to see that the site feels more and more like a cesspool of wallposts than it does a content-based site. It genuinely stuns me, that the site feels this wall post-centered sometimes. I fully understand why the wall posts are appealing, but at the same time, I long for the days where wall posts weren't there and content felt at the centre of everything. The amount of "xd random" material on here gets staggering sometimes, and while I understand that my dismay with such is also me growing older, it does sometime feel like it really waters down the "creative community" aspect of the site. I am not going to claim wall posts don't bring some qualities with them, they definitely do; but sometimes it just feels like it really has watered down certain aspects of what it felt like set the community apart from other social media.

A new Harry Potter video game

Well, I managed to finish it in time for a DnD session on the weekend, go me. Couple extra photos here.

As mentioned in the first post about this;

Printed on an Anycubic Photon resin printer
Paints used are mostly Vallejo Game and Model colour paints, some use of Citadel Contrast and Washes as well as Liquitex inks.
Base was done using Vallejo Thick Mud Russian Mud Texture paste, Vallejo Model Colour over that, Citadel Middenland Tufts and Vallejo Water Texture Still Water mixed with a little bit of paint.

It's almost done, just base work to finish up and then I'll get some proper pictures of it.

As I went to post this, I realised that I'd forgotten that I'd already put down a base coat of Yellow Olive by Vallejo, so I guess this is a little bit of a 2 for one update? That pic can be found here.

Anyway, moving on from that I've spent a bit of time working on the skin, which isn't quite done yet, but it's certainly much closer to done than it was a few hours ago. Couple other details have been base coated, leaving the metallic parts until last, things such as the chain across his stomach and the sickle hanging off it. For now though, that's really it in terms of updates on the troll.

Am I really that old? Y'all use overlay instead of handpicking and creating little palettes for those pixels?
