lol I don't even know how schools work outside Italy. I'm going to suppose that Elementary School in singapore is the same as in Italy, but if it is, do you even have to choose a specific address for your middle/secondary school? lol.
This is how school works in Italy:
Asilo Nido/Nursery= Little children that are 3 months -3 years old.
Scuola Materna/ Nursery School (??)= Little children that are 3-5 years old.
Scuola Elementare/Elementary School= Children that are 6-11 years old. It is obligatory and lasts 5 years: here you learn reading, writing, boring maths, stimulant history and geography. Oh, and you learn English, too.
Scuola Media/Middle School= Kids from 11 to 14 years old. It is obligatory and lasts 3 years: it's your first true experience of school because you can be flunked out and things. Here you learn literature, science, still boring maths, still stimulant history (kind of), and you continue learning english plus french OR spanish, though spanish is more popular. And, at the end of the three long years... you have to do an exam. With all the profs in front of you. They're waiting for you to pronounce an universal discourse that involves all of their school subjects. Everyone becomes anxious except a few of guys.
Istruzione Superiore/Higher Education= tough choice, friend! There are a lot of High Schools, Institutions, different conservatories... a lot of things you have to choose from. It's obligatory until you reach the 16 years of age.
AND, LAST: THE UNIVERSITY. Just a link.
