Unfortunately I'm not sure what mods are needed for the shield stuff, since I usually keep my Minecraft "Java" Vanilla. It might work on Bedrock with out mods/add-ons.

If your talking about the shield texture, you will either need mods or play 1.14 and Back. As newer version don't support shield texture that have transparent/invisible textures.

Not 100% sure I think it has something to do with transparent/invisible texture, but I think it does work in 1.14 and back.
