Daytime, in which the lion is a large, lazy feline. In the real world, lions are nocturnal and hunt in the night, napping in the day. The idea is that this mob would behave like a minecraft spider, although it can get aggressive when hit or when their babies are endangered. After all, even a sleeping lion can be dangerous.
This mob would probably look better is its midriff were more like a cat's, but I couldn't make this on that tiny model. Maybe this lion has just fed and is bloated...?
