This weird and scary creature looks like a hoglin and acts just like one... Except for one thing. It's not alive anymore. Alright so It's a zoglin then? Well no. It goes deeper than just turning into a zoglin.
This hoglin looks nowhere near a presumably dead walking corpse.
This is the result of decades of rotting and burnt down flesh, hence the colorless and dark skin.
The thinner parts of the body, like the horns and the ears, and eaten down as time passes, and the outlines of the eyes are falling down, making the holes bigger and bigger.
The yellow light dot is only the reflection of the pupil, still in place and intact, as hoglins have rather unique eyes.
But what about the other parts of the body?
An unknown fungus, only found in the Nether and only produced by some rare nether warts, are thrown into the air and can infect anything near it.
This hoglin got infected, quickly died, and stayed dead for decades before the fungus could reproduce itself inside the body, creating weird looking eyes coming out of its body as well as a gigantic mouth on his back. The fungus is then capable of controlling the entire body, making it move to find a better location to infect more hoglins.
