The sheep is a great example on how to use noise. The default model of the sheep looks like it was created with noise in some spots anyway. In between 5 and 10 percent is a good intensity to set the noise at. If it is too intense than it will look messy. Noise is good for making furr, wool, and alot of other similar things.
