Since 1.12, with the introduction to datapacks, players can type their commands from an external program and organize their coding lines much nicer than in-game command blocks. Most people probably use Notepad++, and a styler to their commands can be applied.
I have gone out of my way to make a simple styler/language for Minecraft 1.13 commands. If you want to use it, once you have the file downloaded and extracted onto your computer, (on your Desktop is fine) open up Notepad++ with your function open, go to "Language" > "Define your language..." > "Import..." Find the xml document, select it, and the styler will be added. Reload Notepad++. The user language will be titled "Minecraft 13"
