Yes this is inspired by Tinkers' Construct, and I really couldn't think of a better name than Tinkery.

Improve your tools by adding materials onto them!

Customise durability, modifiers and enchantments!

Extra added effects such as Force feeding and step-incline.

Custom durability mending.

29 Attributes so far, more to come!

The example addon adds a new type "charm", and allows "charm" and "shield" types to be given a new modifier "Speed Effect".

Upgrading tools is meant to be expensive, but not overly expensive. Please comment if you think any of the upgrades are overly costly, as I do need to balance the modifier costs.

- Added compatibility for Shears, Carrot on a stick, Flint and Steel and Fishing Rod
- Added Night vision, Jump Boost, Lure and Luck of the Sea
- Putting Bedrock in the modifier will make the tool unbreakable
- Conversion blueprint added
- You can convert all of the basic tools (more to come later)

- All of the crafting recipes have pictures instead of text. Thanks to Sr_Heli0s for showing me Stevertus' Custom Font video.

- Please update to resource pack v0.4

hey, how do you convert regular tools to tinkers tools? i tried adding an empty blueprint to a regular pickaxe in all four of the tables from the datapack and it didnt work, thanks

In the blueprint maker.
Empty blueprint in the far left slot, a wooden pickaxe in the middle(ish) slot, and a pickaxe blueprint should be created in the right slot.
You then have to craft a new pickaxe using the constructor.
I am working on making a "conversion" blueprint, which you can get the work-in-progress version by putting an emtpy blueprint in both slots in the blueprint maker.
But this doesn't fully work yet, and will convert basic tools only. Trying to further modify the converted tools may overwrite the enchantments and attibutes already on those tools.

how about separate the axe from being a hatchet? like in the real mod.. you know? maybe gold axe can be make as hatchet and diamond,wood, and stone axe can be make as tinker's axe

Well, it should be fine with other data packs, as everything is just extra NBT, there may be a couple of scoreboard conflicts though, but I prefix all of my scoreboard objectives with t_ to minimise that.

As for bugs, I rely on the goodwill of the users to find them, as I try to fix all I find, but I don't find them all.
