Hey guys.
It has been a while since I have uploaded on a mod, I was trying to think what I should do and decided to make a tool mod. It is called the Sapphire Tools mod. The sapphire tools are much better than diamond, and the ore is very rare. It has some light, so if you see some light it is that ore.
The recipes are like every other tool, except using the Sapphire Ingot.
Sapphire block is 9 sapphire ingots.
Smelt a sapphire ore and you get a sapphire ingot.
Use the ingot to make tools.

Pickaxe: Mines much faster than diamond, durability of 2500
Shovel: Digs in about 1 click, durability of 2500
Sword: Not sure of the damage, can kill a spider in two hits on Normal, creeper, skeleton, and zombie three hits on Normal, durability of 2500
Axe: Chops down trees much faster. Durability of 2500
Hoe: Not a difference than a normal hoe, durability of 2500
Bow: Shoots at a velocity of 30.0 (that kills anything in one hit!) And it is expensive. You need four sapphire ingots!
Durability of 800
Note: The bow does not have an animation. Hold right click for about 1 and a half seconds and then release. It still shoots.
I encountered an error with the crafting of the bow, whoever downloaded the bow version please download it again!
ORE INFORMATION:
Spawns at a height of y: 9 and lower.
Maximum ores per chunk(a number of ores you find) is 5
The frequency of it spawning under the set height is set to 2 (which means it is very rare).
Smelt the ore for a Sapphire Ingot.
Installation:
Download the .zip you downloaded.
DOWNLOAD MODLOADER!
Extract it.
Go to run, type in %appdata%.
Click on .minecraft
Go to bin, open the minecraft.jar with 7zip or Winrar
DELETE META INF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Drag the files from ModLoader to the jar
Drag the files from the mod to the jar
Play!
Note: The Sapphire ore is NOT in the creative inventory, you need to do /give 253 in Single player commands to get it (just to remind people who want to make a video or were concerned why they were not getting the ore in the creative inventory).
I messed up on the hardness part, so for now the diamond pickaxe mining will be the same mining speed as iron (only for the sapphire ore). This will be changed in V.1.1.
