BEFORE YOU WANT TO REPORT YOU SHOULD READ THE WHOLE POST :)

He said that I could help him with his mods so here I am with the latest update of Better Villages 3.7 Reloaded.

Now let's get on to the mod. These are the stuff that the mod implement and fix.


v3.9 - 5+ Villages Every 16 chunks, Jungle/Swamp/Ice Villages!

Mod Info

- Villages now spawn in every biome that has a little flat land.
- Villagers have betters AI.
- Villages spawn 5 or more houses.
- Villages extends land into flat land.
- Villages break apart any block in the way.
- Villages break blocks 75 blocks above them (trees etc.)
- Villagers have a low chance of attacking a zombie, still working on it, but cool! :D
- Villages no longer have a weird generation with gravel.
- Biomes now have a fixed spawn-rate so there won't be like 500 villages in one single biome on LargeBiomes generation and default world.
- Villagers now walk on terrain like nothing before! They can detect where they walk.
- Villagers will attack zombies ONLY if the Golem Spawn Rate is below 10%. Which is extremely rare.
- Villages spawn in literally every single biome except 'The End Biome'!
- Added new GUI in the In-Game menu.
- Addedpreparationfor Donators, who will get capes.
- Updated to MC 1.5.2.
- Jungle/Swamp/Ice Villages!
- New GUI.

Installation

SINGLE_PLAYER:
- Drag the every single class file inside your minecraft.jar.
- Drag BetterVillages.cfg into the .minecraft directory.
- Remember to put singleAI into minecraft.jar as well!

MULTI_PLAYER:
- Drag the 2 class files inside your minecraft_server.jar.
- Drag BetterVillages.cfg inside your Server directory.
- Remember to put serverAI into minecraft_server.jar as well!

(Recommendation: Watch a tutorial. (Google or YouTube: How to install a minecraft mod)


Version Updates
Previous updates were from coolboy4531 which now retired. v3.6 was one of the latest until I updated it.


Bugs
WorldLifter will make World generating into new MinecraftGen. Changing some AnvilChunk handlers, will be my best bet, to offer.

Fixed an issue with the client brought by BetterVillages.class.

It now uses Forge Interfaces [1.6.4 build 7 version]

- Removed all non-existent methods that caused loop errors in generation.
> Replaced with (generationCheck[chunk]) from (generate[chunk])

- Removed overrides with ForgeSubscribe.
> Replaced with (overrideMethods[data_16, data_random]) from (methodWrap[data])

Preparing to update to the latest Minecraft version once Forge updates.
For now, using ExpressCraft to adapt to 1.6.4 as BetterVillages main hosting API is updated to 1.7.

ExpressCraft is an PNC that removes all data points of 1.7. and compiles them to an admin chosen version [1.6.4] and uses JVComp to gather all important existent progress into one class which sends hostage data to a website or the client itself, and changing all the values into the version you specify.

Fixed crashing while creating new world.

Due to the fact that I edited base classes.
This crash is still frequent, but I have decreased the amount by
1) Changing from doubles and floats to bytes in BetterVillages @interface (not CFG!)
2) Changing from block to (item) entity item.

Server issues:
I still have frequent crashes (a lot more than integrated [single-player]);
This is a problem and I think I have found a fix, I did
1) Adding classes from SP to MP.
2) Fixing non supported SP and MP methods.
3) Changing base class identials to MP identials.
4) Updated SP classes to work with MP.

There is sadly one bug, that I couldn't fix.

~ BV44: Crashing when loading an old world, but once mod is removed it works again. O_o. Strange? [NOT-FIXED]

I have honestly discontinued this mod.
Any other third-party websites besides PlanetMinecraft are fake updates.

Either a virus, or just fake advertising to get users to download a later version when the only version, well... is only 1.6.3/1.6.4.

Hi! I used this mod months ago and loved it. Unfortunately, I lost the mod when I had some issues with my Minecraft mods folder. I was using it for a 1.5.2 modpack. While I'm glad to see this mod continues to be updated, I'm wondering if there's a link for all versions, or if the current version will work with 1.5.2?

this mod looks pretty good, but it doesn't use forge, and i have NO idea how to install mods any other way.
Could anybody explain what the hell minecraft.jar and the .minecraft directory are? They don't exist on my computer.

This version actually works for 1.6.2 too.
It's just using reobfuscate_srg to access the classes without updating.

Feel free to use the 1.6.3/4 version for 1.6.2 :)

Well. It's works, but you can't install it like a Forge mod.

how to add classes?
i added everything to the correct place, but when i hit play on the launcher, launcher disapears and nothing happens. help?

Edit: i also made a backup forge.jar thingy in case it messed up.

Edit no.2: ok when i removed all things related to the mod my minecraft booted up properly.

I really like the idea of this mod, but I HATE it when villages spawn in water, it's completely silly and annoying to fix.

You can not stop people reading your code man...lol...if you want to be a programmer then you might think about learning the basics about US copy rights.www.copyright.gov/help/faq/faq-protect.html

It won't see the mod, i put it in the mod folder and did what i have to do for every other mod on forge but when i boot up minecraft it doesn't have the mod applied. Is there something that I'm missing?

You should make a bukkit port where it changes the generator.
Twinklez, you are just taking over all the best mods these day, especially with the Swords of Israphel, i can't wait until the new ranks are implemented

You have to install like a ModLoader mod.
I still get the Converting World message and it is stuck there. Have I done anything wrong? BTW I'm using 1.6.2

For instance (see comment below), I already have a "more villages" mod that I'm unhappy with, but I can't just delete it and drop in your mod. I have to create a new .jar, add forge and optifine, add more wolves (cause I like it) and SinglePlayerCommands to the new .jar and then add your mod.

Is there something about extra villages mods that makes them inherently incompatible with simply placing them in the forge mods folder? Not that I won't install this and give it a try, but every single "more villages" mod requires you to update the .jar file which is a pain.

You should fix the roads with ocean villages, or make them spawn as a different material.
Just a suggestion, otherwise great mod.

I keep getting stuck at "Loading World Converting World" and whenever I press ESC the game crashes... Please fix soon. This mod looks sick!

This also stops at loading world, converting world this is what I did.

1) Started with a new Jar

2) Installed Forge (I wanted it for other Mods)

3) Installed your Mod

4) Deleted Meta

5) Loaded MC

Outcome - Sits at Converting World, Loading World

Also I am using Multi MC
