AFTER SIX YEARS OF INACTIVITY...
Sooo that last update aged quite badly lol. Long story short, I will no longer be updating my mods. Throughout the past 6 years, I have experienced a lot of mental trauma, and have been left in a state that left me unable to post for about 4 years. But in the past 2 years I've found new interests, friends, and a road to happiness I could have never imagined. Part of that realization has been discovering that I don't really enjoy modding that much. All I really wanted to do was make people happy, and in the absence of friends, this was the best I could do. But it's time for me to officially move on. Also, now that I've gained the ability to form my own opinions on things, I really kinda hate Sword Art Online tbh. Sorry, had to get that out lol. Thank you everyone for enjoying my content. I'll still keep everything up here, but please don't ask for updates. The only update I will make is to right a wrong I made 6 years ago (see the apology below for details) Also I will upload all the mods to mediafire links eventually to replace the malicious ad.fly links. I owe you all at least this much. Best regards~
An apology that no one asked for, but I still want to make
Time to address some things that have been eating away at me over the past 6 years. Firstly, I would like to apologize for the inclusion of the 2016 political election icons. It was very inappropriate of me to trivialize such important matters. I was a very naïve & well off white passing kid back when I made this, and I could not imagine the amount of hate in people's hearts. But over the past 6 years, I have not only learned a lot, but I've experienced that hate firsthand. The truth was that I simply wanted to include the Bernie icon, but I was too afraid of backlash, so I tried to include everyone. But now I will stand by my opinions, even if it looses me friends. Trans rights are human rights & Black lives matter, no compromises!
AFTER OVER A YEAR OF INACTIVITY...
New update time! First and foremost, I would like to apologize for not updating for so long and neglecting my mods and projects. I have been going through some dark times and I have not been able to find the motivation to update my mods. That being said, while I am far from feeling all better, I've decided to start updating my stuff once more! I owe it to everyone to keep my content up to date.
1.10 STRIPPED VERSION
Unfortunately, Minecraft forge has changed alot since 1.7. Many old methods I relied on to create this mod have been deprecated or removed completely. I plan on eventually returning this mod to its former glory, but for now, this mod will be missing several of its features. I don't know when I will be able to find a work around, but for now, the health bar is still intact, but not much else. For some laughs, I have added some 2016 Election guild icons, which will be removed after the election is over. (NOTE: The guild icons are purely for entertainment and do not represent my political beliefs) (I regret this decision deeply. Read the apology above for more. TL;DR, I was a dumb kid) If you would like to use the legacy 1.7.2/1.7.10 build with all features, it is still available for download here.
ABOUT SAO UI MOD:
Another developer has undertaken a similar mod that is alot more involved that this one. This is meant to be a light mod so it is not likley that i will do what he did, this mod is designed for convinience and is meant to be simpler and more customizable while his is meant to be more accurate to the anime. I will, however, try to make this mod cooperate with his :)
I know the anime Sword Art Online has recieved a lot of hate (Which, after 6 years of growth as a person, I tend to agree with), but I think we can all agree that the In-Game Interface looks epic. This mod will always remain Client Side Only!
How To Use:
This is a small mod that puts a configurable SAO health bar on the top of your screen. To open the GUI to edit the HUD bar press 'P' (Changeable Via Controls). This also adds curved health bars that go around mobs. Their size/shape is configurable via the Gui. There are also cursors that float above entites, green for normal mobs and red for hostile mobs. This and the health bars can be turned off via the gui. There is also a hotbar, but its far from finished.
(All features in red are NOT available in the 1.10 Stripped Version)
Server:
riverrrock created a good Sword Art Online Server that works well with the mod, check it out! The server is still in 1.7.10 so use that version of the mod, which includes all the features.
