Sweep 'N Slash is an add-on that introduces some of the combat aspects from Java Edition's 1.9 Combat Update into Bedrock Edition.
This Add-On requires Beta API on!
Sweep 'N Slash's main features:
- Sweep Attacks
- Saturation Healing
- Java Edition Axes
- Customizable Visual Effects
- Highly Customizable Weapon Stats
- Java Edition Damage Calculation (applies to player attacks only)
Sweep 'N Slash changes:
- No shield knockbacks (except for player vs mobs with an axe)
- Weapon damages
- Knockbacks and sprint knockbacks (tied to attack cooldown)
Limitations (Does not include):
- Right clicking shield
- Sweeping Edge enchantment (All the swords have Sweeping Edge I enchantment effect by default)
- Item animations: Because of how Bedrock handles the item models, it's practically impossible to implement this without breaking compatibility.
To add custom weapons for your Add-Ons, refer to the guide in the source code!
This Add-On makes slight changes player.json, which is required for this Add-On's combat mechanics to function correctly.
Adding 'sweepnslash.config' tag will grant you permission for advanced toggles in config menu.

Attention to all the custom stats creators:
Since the scripts are now built using TypeScript, all the script files have been merged into one.
It's now recommended to use IPC for your own custom stats, since internal modification became harder.
- Custom command no longer requires cheats on, '/sns:config' is now the command for opening config menu
- Added Saturation Healing (can be toggled off in config menu)
- Added a category (Server Toggles) that requires operator permission to use (moved shield break option toggle to there)
- Added stutter knockbacks: Taking damages from natural sources or damages without damaging entity will 'stutter' players
- Projectiles now inherit shooter's velocity
- Saturation effect now fills both hunger and saturation
- Added sweepLocataion and sweepRadius properties for beforeEffect script
- Fixed an oversight where custom knockback properties don't apply for weapon stats
- Added Vector3 particle offset property for crit and sweep particles for beforeEffect script
- Added iframes check property for beforeEffect script
- Added system class arg for custom scripts
- Bow hitsound now plays correctly
- Added Chinese and Romanian (Universal Language Pack) Localization
