The universal wheeled tractor of the Minsk Tractor Plant Belarus MTZ-922 is an almost complete analogue of the Belarus MTZ-923. The main distinguishing feature of the MTZ-922 is a low–profile cabin suitable for tractor use in greenhouses and greenhouses, poultry farms and livestock complexes.

The height of the tractor was able to accommodate almost 2.5 meters due to a different placement of the cabin, which is located lower and shifted slightly forward, compared with the MTZ-923. The MTZ-922 has a different weight distribution: its front axle accounts for 42 percent of the total mass.
