My best bet is that it might be an OS-based issue. I'm playing on Fedora Linux, one of the other people that was having this issue was on Prism Launcher which is pretty popular on Linux and macOS, and another mentioned they were on Steam Deck, yet another person was using > for paths just like how it's displayed in macOS' finder. If this is the issue and you're not seeing it because you're on Windows, you might be able to re-create it by running Minecraft inside WSL2
to make this clear i am using windows 10 and the AT Launcher to test and create the Packs.
I am also doing this alone in my free time so i might have to disappoint here but i neither have the bandwidth nor the time to test on different Setups.
So for anyone not running something similar its falls to yourself to test and find a fix on your Setup.
As for the Solutions discussed so far those were of course only tested on my Setup and found to help somewhat.
Some more Tips:
- if u remove one Mod like Indium you of course have to remove any other mod the might depend on it aswell before starting up again.
- updating Mods wont fix it, since that most likely will introduce more problems as mod compatibility is a very delicate thing
- ram allocation shouldn't go beyond 10 GB since that can also create new problems, so stay between 6-8 GB for the highest compatibility.
- depending from where u got the Pack also make sure to use the right fabric version that should be set from downloads on Curseforge or Modrinth.
Other then that try and make a fresh install of the pack.
As there are mods still only in beta version and compatibility is still being worked on it might even be better to try it on another Minecraft version all together.
You could test cleaning up the world itself, like deleting config and session files, or try another launcher perhaps. I have found that some problems might be caused by the different in launchers used.
If it is only happening for one person tho be sure to have them check thier side first, like RAM and Fabric version.
Those 2 in particular i have found to have a big impact.
Other then that i cant give much help, as i mostly test and optimize with singleplayer and not multiplayer.
Let me know if you find the cause and a fix for this issue in multiplayer.
