Installation: Install like any Flan's mod content pack (Flan's mod goes in mods folder, content packs like this go in the Flan folder). Requires simple parts pack and modern warfare pack to run.

What Version is it!!????
It will work with 1.7.10 and 1.8. The only bug I am aware of is the tracks on the CVR(T) series (scorpion, ect.) don't show up because I publish the Flan's mod plus version by accident.

uhh well you know this question isn't about it but when I searched up on google minecraft faces I was looking for one and I couldn't get the file. how do you get image files from google even?

The BAE lighting looks good... but the canopy?! May you make it transparent?
I was using it as a testbed for cockpit animations, it looked pretty ridiculous with a completely transparent cockpit.

Nice proto, what about an L9A1 and P226 and maybe a british Mustang Mk.III in the future?
There's pretty much zero chance of any of those. I know the Mustang saw service in the RAF first, but I've already got the Spitfire, Typhoon and Hurricane lined up. Plus I'm trying to avoid American stuff as Task tends to make it all anyway (hence no F-4 or F-35).

As for the guns. Well, I pretty much can't stand gun modelling, just isn't fun for me, to the point it's a problem.

While these modern vehicles are all well and good, it would be nice to have some older, legendary tanks and planes such as the Churchill VII, Cromwell, , Spitfire and hurricane (flan's spitfire is a little bit - well trashy).
Sick models and textures so far - the best I think I have ever seen for flans.
Well the Centurion was made so I could start making some more WW2 era vehicles. I've already started working on the Churchill mk.III. I plan to make the AVRE of this, and then it should be a simple matter to convert it into the Churchill mk.VII (and maybe it's AVRE variant with the same 165mm gun as the cent AVRE).

Other than that I'll probably be making the Crusader mk.III, Matilda II (I've already been given a model for this one by a fellow modeller), and maybe the Tortoise. Maybe.

Spitfire and Hurricane are the obvious choices for aircraft, and not doing a Lancaster would be heresy, but I've still got some 50's era aircraft that need to be done first (EE Lightning and the Vulcan), but they will be done at some point.

The King George V isn't happening though I'm afraid (computer can't handle it). I really need to update the page here.

OOOh... if there is 1 tank that i think would be really cool, it would be the A34 'Comet'. Hmmm... how could i persuade flan to put more advanced physics like gun depression, smoke, track & turret traverse speeds and better drivability into the base mod.... That would make the mod perfect. anyways the crusader in flan's wwii pack isnt all that good. The churchill is better, but very basic. So having someone who works on the modelling and texturing rather than the scripts as well will hopefully make for better versions of these tanks. As I was saying earlier, the speed of the churchill or matilda would be a lot slower than a cruiser tank like the Cromwell. I think I'll start a petition! (*jokes*) Anyways, there wouldn't be a chance that you could do a pack for the US military? there are very few decent models out there aside from the chaffee and a huge number of shermans. I'll admit it's a pain to use. Your first option, and perhaps the easiest, is to right click at the exact location where you placed the boat. This is the centre of the model and for every vehicle in Flan's, clicking it will put you in the drivers seat. Alternatively, you can hit F3+B, which will display the seat locations as white boxes, however some of these might be a little difficult to reach.
I have a problem. Because whenever I download the pack it comes up corrupted jarfile. Can anyone help me fix it.
Chrome will usually try and run the .jar as soon as it downloads. Seeing as the .jar here is a package not a standalone program, it'll say it's corrupted. Just put it in the Flan folder and run your minecraft as normal.

I have a serious problem. Whenever i load this pack with other flans mod packs, it messes up the models for all of the vehicles. Does anyone know what to do?

I suggest you use something like NotEnoughItems to help you with crafting. Even I can't remember the recipes off the top of my head.

It is already an Australian texture (via means of cock-up). Though I haven't put on any insignia so that I can pass it off as British Army.

I could give you the toolbox file if you wanted to paint your own one, however the model is way over the 200 part limit for the free version (1922) so I'm not sure how that would work.

This pack is amazing! Sadly, I cannot get it to work correctly.
I am using Minecraft 1.7.10 with Flan's mod 4.10.0. All vehicles behave correctly when I spawn them in in creative mode. However, as soon as I open up the vehicle crafting box and select any of your vehicles or planes (except the mini moke and maybe a few others) my game crashes with a "rendering screen" error.

The description says that it requires a "modern warfare pack" but the url links to a pack called "modern weapons pack" Is this correct?
I have the simple parts pack and the modern weapons pack installed (both for 1.7.10).
I also tried to reinstall Flan's mod and your pack as well as the dependency packs. Same issue.

Yes, I mean the modern weapons pack when I say modern warfare, sorry for the confusion.

As for that crash log... It seems to be unable to render items needed in the crafting recipe... But that shouldn't be happening if you have the dependencies installed.

Just as an experiment, see of you can get it to run with Flans mod 4.9.0 (the differences between the two versions is minimal) and see if you get the same error. You may need to use the 4.9.0 versions of simple parts and modern weapons, but this may not be necessary.

I went through the creative inventory and checked that every item from the dependency packs is available.
I also tried to install other packs like the WW2 pack, the Ye Olde Pack and the Titan pack. Turned out, they're working but I don't like 'em that much.
That's very weird... I'll see if I can find anything. If all fails I'm currently helping Flan test the 1.8 version so I can throw that crash report at him and see what he says.

Can you give me a list of exactly what vehicles crash (or if there's too many, which ones don't crash). And does this happen when you click on a vehicle from any other content pack?

What I find strange is this appears to be a bug with the recipe... But they all use more or less the same recipes used in the modern weapons pack. Unless I've really fucked up somewhere.
Well, I'm done testing and it looks like the mini moke, the HMS Daring, the FV107 Scimitar and the FV101 Scorpion are the only ones that work while all other vehicles cause a crash.
I just tested the Futurecraft pack and got the same issue. Everything works just fine except the vehicle crafting bench. Additionally, some of the items like the hover unit and the X wing parts as well as the Zero Titan Mk II (but only as an item, not the entity) have missing textures.
Very weird, your packs seem to hate me. :D
More like I cocked up somewhere... Very unusual (not really). If the Zero Titan MKII, hover wing and X-wing parts have no texture... Well that's because they aren't even meant to be in there still, why they haven't been removed is beyond me.

Slightly strange request... Does anything happen differently if you go to craft them in survival mode rather than creative?
No, sadly not. The game mode doesn't seem to make any difference.

is there any way to add like a recoil effect to the tanks and stuffage when they fire their main weapon? and to add smoke and stuffage that appear from the barrel of the main weapon when you fire it? that would be cool.

Hello, I've been having problems with deleting the actual entities themselves. The Daring Destroyer is impossible to remove by any means, and some of the others can only be removed by being blown up. If you could look into this problem that would be most appreciated.

The Daring is a pain to remove, but it's possible. If you use F3+B, it's display the hit boxes you need to click to destroy the vehicle (should be a white box in the middle). As Daring is so large and waterborne, it's quite awkward to, but standing on top of the central hitbox and punching down should do it.

You'll probably find it was either installed incorrectly or there's something else on your computer causing the problem.

4.9.0 and 4.10.0 are interchangable, the only features changed between the version don't apply to this pack.

As for 1.8, Flan's mod isn't stable yet, but so far no changes affect content packs, 1.7.10 will theoretically work with 1.8, but this isn't final, and will likely change. As and when Flan makes a change I'll update this, but right now it works with the latest version.

which planes do right click and which do left click?
Left click is usually to fire the guns, right click is to fire missiles.

the exceptions are TSR-2, which fires missiles on left and drops bombs on right, and the Apache, which launches rockets on left and guided missiles on right.

Hi, I recently downloaded this pack and installed it on MindCrack modpack. I believe that I have installed Flans correctly. When I load up my game, I can see the items in the Not Enough Items menu, but when I try to place a vehicle, my game crashes. Any ideas as to how I can fix this?
Do you have simple parts pack? That sounds like it's failing to load something.

Doesn't it come automatically with base Flans mod? I can see the .jar file in the "Flan" folder.
The simple parts pack is a separate content pack that needs to go in the Flan folder. The base mod itself doesn't actually add any items.

I reinstalled the simple parts content pack. Unfortunately, nothing changed. I can spawn in the item, but can't place it.

Very strange.... It looks like it's failing to render specific parts of the model, which usually mean there's missing recipe parts... But for the parts it rendering, there are no recipe parts...

Could you try crashing with different planes? I'd be interested to see if it's the same thing crashing each one. I don't believe I've ever seen this bug before.

You are using flans mod version 4.10.0 correct?

YAY!!!! It worked. I was using Flans 4.4.0, not the latest version. I must have gotten from a mirror download website and that is why it already had loaded content packs.
