Dual Grappling Hooks:


Shoots two hooks at a time and pulls player towards hooks


Controls:
  1. Side crosshairs - aim hooks
  2. Center crosshairs - direction of movement
  3. Right click - throw grappling hooks
  4. Right click again - release
  5. Double-right click - release and throw again
  6. Shift+right click - throw grappling hooks at narrower angle
  7. shift+left click - adjust speed

Installation

This mod installs like most other forge mods:
  • Install Minecraft Forge for version 1.8 (Tested on version 1.8 - 11.14.4.1563)
  • Put the .jar file in the .minecraft/mods folder

I found a potential bug: The double grappling hook does not take damage for me when used while the single one does. I am using the version for minecraft 1.10.

I think a lot of recipes should be nerfed in this mod. Diamond boots + wool = infinite falling; which is much easier to get than the feather falling boots. And ender staff? Just kill ca 2 endermen and get 1 redstone piece + stone and wood and you're already OP in the game. I'd give a diamond if this mod wouldn't make the game this easy.

Thinking about the fact that this will probably be in modpacks, noone ever uses feather falling anyway. It is expensive, breaks and is utterly useless considering that with a flying ring, certain armour piece, any tinker boots or Thaumcraft boots you can avoid fall damage completely.
I think this is a great way of getting around, while at the same time not being that easy and safe.
Also, there are mods to change recepies, I would really not complain to the mods author
