Time to Celebrate
It was exactly 10 years ago, 7.7.2013, when I released my very first content pack for Flans Mod. Poker's Garage 1.0 was great hit, despite it's many shortcomings. Now, 10 years later, it's time for something new.
Poker's Garage Anniversary
At it's core, PGA is almost the same with other iterations of the pack. Differences come from Immersive Vehicles, and opportunities provided by the mod, in order to enhance your driving experience. It's been a long time, since last release of Poker's Garage, and in that time I've taken major precautions, in order for You to have fun with these cars.
Content
PGA includes cars from previously released iPG, although with some alterations to the rooster. Some cars made their way into Craftspeed, so you won't find them here. In return, previously released 10 cars, are now accompanied with new vehicles, raising the car count to 29. From compact sports cars, like Skoda Octavia and Peugeot RCZ, through modern classics, like Lamborghini Reventon, renown groundtourers, like S65 AMG and Polestar 1, to top of the class, exotic hypercars, including Lamborghini Revuelto, Pagani Utopia and Bugatti Mistral. You will surely find something, that will cater to your vehicular preferences.
And to top it all off, all cars have been modeled in signature, Minecraft aesthetic. Heavily taking from minecraft materials, and recreating some of really intricate shaping on these cars, in blockier form. It's not photorealistic, it's not high poly. It's simply stylish, and scaled to match with your worlds realistically.
Driving
As name of the base mod suggests, it's all about Immersive driving. And PGA does not dissapoint. All cars feature active instrument slots, and some, even have their dedicated clusters. But, being immersive in terms of car functionality is one thing. PGA raises the stakes with all new camera systems, that allow you to drive, like you're driving in your favorite video game! To activate new perspectives, jump into your car, and simply switch F5. Besides, traditional Minecraft cameras, you'll find two chase cameras, and one improved first person view - all with active effects, inspired by some of my favorite racing games. Not only that, Cars in PGA have instrument slots, for general HUD. We even have generic Gauges, inspired by some games that I really like.
Driving itself also has been improved. Handling style is heavily inspired by my favorite Need for Speed game, Hot Pursuit 2010. Cars are grippy, they're easy to control, but also, they do tend to drift, just like in these games. Be cautious! It's easy to lose control when you're not careful. Also, keep in mind the weight of your car, affects driving heavily. Some cars are not made for racing. They're built different.
[Note, pack is designed to work best with default speed factor for IV/MTS, including some exagerated speed counts, for more realism]
HOW TO INSTALL
Required:
Minecraft 1.12.2
Forge
Immersive Vehicles Mod (recommended version 22.8)
Step 1:
Download and install Forge for version 1.12.2. You can find more detailed tutorials on this on youtube.
Step 2:
Download Immersive Vehicles Mod (Recommended 22.8) and immersive Poker's Garage Pack
Step 3:
Open the directory where you installed your Minecraft with Forge. By default, it's set to .minecraft, which you can access by searching %appdata% in your search toolbar. If the localisation is different, you can check it in Minecraft Launcher
Step 4:
Insert Immersive Vehicles and Poker's Garage Anniversary jar files in the 'mods' folder
Step 5:
Launch the game and enjoy!
FAQ
Will you make car XYZ?
I don't tend to take requests. It'd have to be something pretty damn good to convince me.
Most Immersive Vehicles Packs have part dependencies. Does PGA have such?
Nope. All the parts, dedicated to the vehicles, are in the pack, with the vehicles. That being said, pack is compatible with Craftspeed. You can use aftermarket wheels, seats and even engines from that pack on cars from PGA. It is also planned to add more compatibilities in future updates - including licence plates etc.
Will you update to newer version of Minecraft?
At this point, I do not intend to update beyond 1.12.2
Can I use PGA on my server?
Of course! Have at it! You can even use it in modpack, just notify me or something. I might even pay you a visit... The same goes for videos and showcases on youtube.

Also, speaking of updates - they take a lot of time, due to a lot of issues with creativity, and workload. Still have things in my life to deal with you know. But if you seek the "update" you might want to look out on motorcraft YT channel. I have so announcements to make this summer.
