Well, this is my latest program. It helps you to backup either your minecraft.jar, all your worlds or your whole .minecraft folder.
INFO: The backups are saved in a folder called ".kirby0016backuper" in the same folder as your .minecraft folder. E.g: Windows: %APPDATA%.kirby0016backuper

Usage:
  • Start the exe / jar file (on Mac or Linux use the jar file)

  • Click one of the buttons at the top to create a backup. (the button caption says it all)
  • later when you want to restore the backup: choose one of the backups in the list (you might have to double click "Backups" first, but then you should see a folder with the date of the backup creation)
  • after choosing a backup click "Restore".

This is amazing! Thank you for making this! I'm playing Aether, And I keep destroying my worlds by accident, it's really pissing me off. But now that won't happen! Thanks!

Well, I tested it and I can't understand you. It does what it is supposed to do. It simply doesn't tell you when it's finished. Did you even look if it did something?
there we go thx dude
