This version is for the client (players). You can download the Lightsaber Mod Server here.

INSTALLATION - CLIENT
  1. Download & Install Risugami's ModLoader

  2. Download & Install ModLoaderMP Client
  3. Download & Install Minecraft Forge
  4. Download Light Saber Mod from here

  5. Drag the contents of the "Into .minecraft" folder into your .minecraft folder
  6. Drag the contents of the "Into minecraft.jar" folder into your minecraft.jar
  7. Delete META-INF if you haven't already
  8. Enjoy the mod!

Do they give off any light when you hold them? That'd be pretty awesome. Do the mobs ignite when you hit 'em?

With light that will be really hard, since entities cant transmite light on the vanilla minecraft...

Yes they can. The blaze is giving of light. (Not light from the fire)

Yeah, you're probably right. But the official Star Wars mod has lightsabers that are always at light level 15.
