Minecraft Auto-Crafting System


Works with latest snapshot (19w12b and above) only!

How to use



  • Place an item frame on a chest
  • Rename the desired item as "AutoCraft"
  • Place the renamed item on the item frame.
  • Now put the craft material in the chest, and... that's it!

Notes

Each item frame has a ten second cooldown.
You can place multiple item frame on a single chest!
This system will work with all blocks that contains a Items NBT tags, as Chest, Hopper, Barrel, etc
Work with all vanilla Crafting Table recipes (shapeless and shaped recipes), but not with "special" recipes like banner duplicating, etc.

For this datapack, I created a "code generator" (not currently released). When the generator will be release, you will have the capacity to generate the auto-crafting mechanic for custom recipes from other datapacks

Crafting hopper minecarts in 1.14.4 starts to create stacks of normal minecarts when crafting



Input 2 minecarts and 2 hoppers and it crafts 1 hopper minecart, and then the single minecart still left is suddenly a stack

Ok, so I had an ENTIRE single chest full of dried kelp and I set it to make dried kelp blocks. It made 3 blocks... Instead of 256. Thought this mod was so cool until this happened. Not cool. And the worst thing is, is that this still hasn't been fixed since release. If ur working on the fix then cool but it feels as though you don't care. >:(

This one is broken. I had 2 stacks of shulkers and 1 stack of chests in a chest and it made 2 shulkers, took both stacks of shulker shells and left only 62 chests.

I have same issue with having multiple stacks in a chest. I have an iron farm and have it set to AutoCraft Iron blocks. It there is more then one stack of iron ingots in the chest it will take both stacks of iron ingots and stop making the blocks. It does not give the ingots back.

There is a bug that involves multi stack of x64 in the chest. (example) It I was wanting to make paper and placed two stacks (64 each) of sugar cane in the chest the sugar cane would never decrease, however it would continue to make paper. Also there is some random events where it would erase the sugar cane all together.

Why did Wattles show of your datapack? My autocrafting pack is way more popular ;) But anyways, I really like the idea of being able to craft multiple items in one chest. In my pack you can only craft one item per crafter
