Crafted by throwing 2 logs and 3 iron blocks (think a BIG pickaxe) on top of a crafting table.
Will mine stoney blocks in the cardinal direction you are looking, at the expense of the pick. Unfortunately this does not take advantage of custom crafting due to how limited custom crafting in datapacks is at the moment. Instruction file included. Should be multiplayer compatible but not guaranteed, I haven't been able to test it on a server. I'm open to suggestions for improvements.

Throw 2 logs and 3 iron blocks on top a crafting table and it should craft "the Underminer" with the lore "Carve."
Once you mine something with "the Underminer" an explosion should happen, and all natural stone blocks (stone, andesite, diorite, granite) in the direction you're looking will be cleared out for a significant distance.

If you aren't able to craft the pick, do "/datapack list" and make sure "file/underminer-########" is there.
  If yes, do "/reload"
If no, make sure the zip file is in the correct place (look at the instructions in the zip file for in depth installation steps)

If you have issues beyond not being able to craft the pick, could you describe what's going on when you use "the Underminer," it may be a bug on my part that I can fix real quick
Im able to craft it but when i mine something nothing happens and it just acts as a normal iron pickax, and it doent have carve

Ok sorry for the dumb questions: you aren't using the crafting table's menu right? You're literally throwing the items onto it and it makes a clank sound then the items become a pick? Does the pick have a name similar to "the underminer?" Are you in 1.13.2? Have you downloaded the pack in the last 12 days?

I've downloaded it and am testing it but everything is happening correctly.
If worse comes to worst do the command in the <>: </give @s minecraft:iron_pickaxe{display:{Lore:["Carve"]}}>

The issue is definitely because your pick doesn't have "Carve" under its name. I have no idea why it wouldn't have Carve unless you're accidentally crafting a normal pick in the crafting grid.
No, im throwing them ON the table as supposed t. Its called the underminer. No im playing in the snapshots for 1.14. Yes i have... is it compatible with the snapshots?

Ahhh, yeah, that's why. They've changed how some commands work in the snapshots, right now all my packs (unless specified) work only in 1.13. Don't worry, I will be updating these in 1.14 but for now, sorry about the headaches with compatibility. Keep an eye out for an update in the next few weeks though!
okay thank you for all of the help!

How far will it mine? Do we get the blocks?

The short answer is: very long, and no, you don't get the stone blocks.

The long answer is that because it takes the same amount of iron as 9 iron pickaxes, it mines that many stone blocks maximum (an 11x2x103 area, 2,266 blocks, while 9 iron picks mines 2,259 blocks). I intentionally made it so you aren't able to collect the stone as 2.2k particles and items (35+ stacks) would tank most people's fps, as well as being a minor way to balance how efficient it is
