This datapack enables the display of health bars
for each mob that is near of you.

Place the .zip file inside of datapacks folder in your world folder.

EX: "...\.minecraft\saves\my_world\datapacks\<datapack.zip>"

Use the /reload command if the health bars are not being shown properly
or if you are updating the datapack, to recreate and update correctly
the health bars list.

The new mob detector have some minor bugs in SMP gameplay:
[Two or more players cannot detect the same type of mob.]
[The health bars can flicker sometimes.]
[The detection radius can be changed.]

Hey this sounds like an awesome Idea, one question though (I don't have time to test the mod currently).



Do they healthbars hide when the mobs aren't in direct sight (like behind a wall?)

No, the detection radius is circular and may include mobs that are behind the walls.

But it is possible to edit the mob detection code to work in several different ways, including this one!

Unfortunately it's only for mobs. "Mob" Health Bar.

I have another datapack in development focused on players health bars only, but will take some time to finish him.

Thanks! I trying add some health bar for more variations of mobs such the tamed wolf and charged creeper, i hope in next versions are already in the game! :D

Hello, you mean the Health Bars still showing in the screen? This is simple to solve:

1 - Re-install the datapack and open your world
2 - Go to any area where "no" any Mobs in Radius
3 - Execute this function command:

/function mob_health_bar:health_bar_remover

4 - Exit the map, and remove the datapack

Hello, initially i made the detection system for 1 player only. I already working on a new detection system for multiple players in a world, but the development is slow due to complexity of new code for the detection system.

Maybe in release 1.5 I already include this new system in both normal and lite editions.

The "/bossbar" command is a kinda limited for do this. In an future version of minecraft maybe this is possible.

Unfortunately it is not possible to do this in the current version of minecraft. The bars don't have a separate texture file.
