There is really not much to say about this other that it changes "Player" to your username in SP and in LAN. All of this was coded by me, and is fairly easy to do.
How to Install:
Drag all Files from the zip file to minecraft.jar
Delete the Metadata folder
open minecraft and your done
Prerequisite:
You MUST have already logged onto your minecraft account in order for this to work. Otherwise you name will be blank.
NOTE: In order to connect to a server while in offline-mode the servers "server.properties" must have online-mode set to false, Also PMC does not support cracked minecraft versions so this should mainly be used to play with friends on lan when your internet goes out.

THIS DOES NOT AFFECT LOGIN AND DOES NOT MAKE MINECRAFT "CRACKED"
IT ONLY AFFECTS CHAT WHILE IN OFFLINE-MODE
Normally, when you play Minecraft in "offline mode" (When you click "Play Offline" because you could not connect to Minecraft servers), your username is defaulted to "Player". Whenever you want to play with your friends offline on a LAN server, only one person can login because if another "Player" logs in, the last one gets logged out.
This mod changes that default username from "Player" to whatever your username actually is. It is a simple fix that should probably implemented in the real game. It only modifies two files and adds one. It is extremely efficient.
