Note to the video, the roadmarkings and roads are part of my other mod: RoadWorks

Want even more realism in your city, or you just want some fancy lamppost scattered around your own streets?
Don't like the dark or want to build your own version of central park?
Always wanted to put (as of now non working) traffic lights up in your city?
Are you a railroad fan, and do you want to make your own fancy railroad crossings?
Or maybe you just want some more metal looking poles...

All those things are possible with this Modification.
It's LATL!

But how does this work?

It adds the following to the game:
Three lamppost models,
A horizontal, vertical and bent pole for making traffic lights
and three types of traffic lights,
see images.


Also the traffic lights change shape according to the place you put them on a pole!

Some of the poles might be difficult to place in the beginning, beware!

And how do I install this?

1) Install the latest forge for your version.
2) Put the zip file in the mods folder. To get here go to:
C:UsersUSERAppDataRoaming.minecraftand there should be a folder called Mods, if not, make it.
3) Run the game! Enjoy!

Added a whole bunch of railroad-crossing building stuff.
To animate them you need to place a crossing pole on a pole stub (Not a regular pole)

when i put the mod to "mods" folder, my minecraft wont launch. I click at "Enter Game", then validating from forge - done and then logo MOJANG, but then only black screen and nothing more. Minecraft 1.5.2

could you make the rr crossing go down a wee bit faster? they're rather slow.

I'm loving the additions this mod makes to minecraft (as well as roadworks).

One problem I encounter is placing lamp posts and the bent pole.  In creative games they place in the correct directions however they will only place in one direction on a survival world.  Has anyone else encountered this problem before or am I doing something wrong?

I downloaded the mod for 1.6.4 for Traincraft to use the RR singals but when ever I place the base, my game crashes. Any reason for it?
I had this problem. It seems to be with the new track in Traincraft. Place it at least 2 blocks away from the tracks. That should fix it.

I love your mod here, and I actually do use them in my city project which I am currently working on now. But only thing I dislike is when you go into a further distance away from anything, everything disappears into fin air. I was wondering if there is any chance you can fix that?

Unfortunately that's the way minecraft handles mobs and recourses like that, for example, tile entities like my lampposts.

It is technically possible to disable this but it's in there for a reason, your game would lag horribly if you'd turn it off.

Hmm, to continue on this, can you add something about it's view distance in a config file then? Because the thing I figured out, is I use a mod called RealTrainMod, and they have entities similar to your mod, and the view distance of those stuff can be seen from a very far distance away, and I don't lag. So I was wondering if you could add like, something about it in the config file please?
I have a crash with this amazing mod! Can you help me to solve it??

That happens when you get mods versions that are long gone and not being looked after anymore

However my brother still uses the old version, and he doesn't have any real glitches
Is there a way I can get this mof for 1.6.4?
Can you change the traffic lights somehow automaticlly??

Overall this is one of my favourite mods, despite having rail road crossing gates being too short.

Would advise adding several other types of traffic signals, including "dog house" 5-light ones, 5-light vertical ones, 4-light ones (3 variations, 1 with two red in a T-format, 1 with 2 red in a vertical format, and 1 with 2 green in a vertical format). Also think you should consider adding 2-light signals (both vertical and horizontal for toll plazas, etc) and the green overhead info signs you see on freeways).
This is compatible with 1.7.10.  I just tested it out.

Yes it is! Not completely though unfortunately.
But in the upcoming update the railroad crossings wil finally be working again (And they will have sound)

Is it becuase you didn't want the railroad crossings in there anymore because it really disapointed me.

By the way if you can just a suggestion could you make the railroad crossing lamps flash colors when the stand is powerd below them?

They were supposed to flash, and supposed to move in the first place, but due to a bug in the recent code for some reason they don't work anymore.


Since I'm working on a lot of mods at a time, It'll take a while before I come around to fixing them though, Sorry!

hey tested the 1.7.2 ver cant stack vertical poles or any of the items so i cant mae trafic lights or stack any of the poes on eachother thans for your time

I don't really know what you mean, but i'm guessing you're asking me why the traffic lights hitbox is so large, if that's the case:"Referring to Main Page"
