The Starcraft MC project aims to provide a thorough, drastic adaptation of the Starcraft universe upon the sandbox java game Minecraft. The gameplay takes place from a first person viewpoint, instead of the RTS 3rd person view of the original Starcraft franchise. The independent developers behind Starcraft MC aim to not only to create a free-roam Starcraft atmosphere, but add an interesting, original campaign storyline to the mod as well. The mod, in tradition with the original franchise, will have three separate releases, each with its own campaign; one will be from the viewpoint of the hardy Terran race, one from the viewpoint of the enigmatic Protoss, and the last from the view of the single-minded Zerg.

Valor of the Fallen:

SMC: VoTF is the first installment of the SMC project, and places the player in the shoes of a Dominion Terran soldier. You awake in your drop-pod, recently crashed to the ground of an uninhabited Fringe world. You try your radio, no reply. Your battlecruiser has been destroyed, and you are stranded alone with no communications, nothing but a crashed escape pod and some basic supplies. Good thing your basic supplies include a C-14 Gauss Rifle and 34 clips of ammo.

VoTF is still in development, and this is a beta release. So far, only the gameplay has been established, and the campaign is not yet implemented. Fear not though, there are plenty of zerglings and infestors for you to fight....and plenty of creep to run from.

Squirm in your seat as the fearsome infestors trundle across the landscape, corrupting the ground and water, and hatching more zerglings as they walk.

Download...install...and see how long you can survive. Your ammunition is limited, and your chances of escape even smaller. Remember, nowhere is safe.

BONUS: The C-140 Plasma Incineration Cannon is operational as well! Incinerate your foes, just like your favourite firebats!
