The Neptune Dimension Mod is a mod made by TheBoo99(me), EpicName1337 and Core_Coder. The mod will add lots of things to Minecraft. The mod is in development state right now and I will add new features sometimes.

Entering the Neptune Dimension
(pics coming tomorrow)
1. Craft 2 Compressed Ice using 9 ice in a Crafting Table
2. Put them above each other in a Crafting Table to craft a Compressed Ice Stick
3. Craft 4 Compressed Ice and 5 Compressed Snowballs (9 Snowballs in a Crafting Table)
4. Craft an Alien Crystal in this shape:

5. Put the Alien Crystal at the top of the Crafting Table and 2 Compressed Ice Sticks below it to craft an Blue Orb
6. Find a Ancient Neptune Temple (watch out for the possibillity of survivors)
7. Activate the portal with the Blue Orb

What do I do there:
You can explore the planet, find stuff and challenge a boss. (not right now)
Whats so special about it?
On Neptune you can mine some Custom ores, craft new toolsets and find new dungeons. The dimension will not have anything from the overworld. Only custom stuff.
Will it be available for multiplayer?
Yes, it will. Forge has built-in multiplayer support.
How do I install it?
Other questions are at the Q&A later down in this post, this Q&A is for questions about the dimension.
The mod will have new mods walking around the new planet. One of them is the Screaper, a swimming creeper like monster that will spawn in the water. Another mob is the Battle Enderman, Endermans trained for battle. Neptune will also have their own Aliens, The Neptunians. They are a civilized group of ... Aliens specialized in Battle-Gear, especially against Endermen (more on that later).
There is also a friendly mob, the Space Cow. Kill it for food. And there is also a new hostile mob, the Blue Scorpion. It has a decent attack damage and health, just a regular enemy. But there is also another hostile mob, the fast Freezling(it's a secret what it does).
The Dimension will be based on the Neptune Stone (name subject to change). It is very common. The portal will be crafted from Ancient Frozen Stone. There is only one known way to get it.
Rare temples, as rare as strongholds, generating in the world. There is one ground level, and one hidden second level, the Portal Room. All you have to do is light the portal and Wooooooooo, off to the new Dimension!
The dimension will have it's own Ice, Trees and ores.
Neptune will have custom dungeons and villages. Not so much to say about it...
This are the Main features, but there is some smaller ones too.
THESE ARE NOT THE FINAL FEATURES. I will add alot during the development.
The Endermen came to Neptune a long time ago. When they landed with their spaceships, they discovered the Neptunians. The Neptunians didn't want the Endermen to be there, so they declared a war against the Endermen.
When Steve enters the portal to the dimension, the Endermen and the Neptunians has been into war for almost a millenium. The Neptunians has constructed Anti-Endermen war-gear, and when Steve kills the Neptunians he recieves powerful gear that he can use in his fight against the Enderdragon.
This is why it's worth coming to Neptune.
I am pretty sure about what I'm saying when I'm saying this. Saturday, the 16th of February, Neptune Beta will be available for public use.
