This is my first mod and, it helps you!
It lets you:
-Break stone and ores faster (you still have to use the appropriate tool to harvest the ores).
-Break obsidian MUCH faster. (once again, you need a diamond pickaxe to harvest the block).
-Swords do 50% more damage.
-Endermen do less damage.
-Chickens drop bones.
-Animals no longer run away when you attack them.
-Wood now breaks faster.
-The Furnace now breaks faster as well.
REMEMBER:
I will be adding things to this mod, so check back here often.

2. Locate your minecraft.jar file and open it with winrar or 7zip.
3. Delete META-INF.
4. Drag all the .class files into the .jar file.
5 Run Minecraft and enjoy!

Mobs drop more items
Creepers do less block damage
Daytime lasts a bit longer (Not sure if possible, just throwing it out there :P)
Creepers burn in daylight (Why is it just zombies and skeletons anyways)
Less aggressive mob spawns (As in less creepers, skeletons, zombies, and spiders spawning)
When fishing you can sometimes get two fish
Faster smelting
Animals take less damage to kill (So it takes less time to track them down when they go crazy)

That's all I can think of at the moment.
faster smelting is good
ill definately do animals take less damage to kill, but im gonna make them move slower when crazy instead.
The problem with less aggressive mob spawns is that then it will be harder to get a lot of xp.
