Hey there!
My creations are consisting of many types,
which all have to be installed in a different way.
They do have something in common though,
it's way too difficult =)

That's why I created my own World Manager!

Features:
- Saves the specified world save location
- Easy world save folder access.
- Easy per world structure folder access.
- Easy per world function folder access.
- Ability to create a bertiecrafter:loop function, which calls all others. This way you can run multiple functions at once in the game-loop. (/gamerule gameLoopFunction bertiecrafter:loop - It runs 20 times a second.)

First Launch

The downloaded .bat file can generate one more file in the same folder. Keep this in mind when you run it. Make sure to download it first and don't directly open it as it asks you to download. This will make it run in your browsers cache folders, which you normally can't easily get to for a second run.

Once you open the file, it will automatically select the default world save folder.
You can specify a different save location if required, press enter to continue.
The path will be saved and automatically used next time!

The Menu

Simply enter the number of your choice and hit enter.

World Folders

This option simply opens the save folder for you to drop the world save inside.
A world save is a folder that contains a region folder.

Structure Files

This option generates a "structures" folder if it doesn't exist yet and opens it for the specified world. You can drop your .nbt files in there.

Function Folders

A function folder is a folder containing .txt files.
Once selected, it automatically creates a "functions" folder in the data folder of your world if it doesn't exist yet. Then it creates a "bertiecrafter" folder with a loop.mcfunction file if they don't exist yet. After that, it opens the file and gives you the ability to enter a "function" command, which calls the soon to be installed function.

E.g If you have a folder named "Notch" with the file "Herobrine.mcfunction", you would add on a new line: function Notch:Herobrine. When you are done you save and close the main.mcfunction file.

On the next screen, the functions folder of the specified world will be opened. The bertiecrafter folder will already be there. You have to drop the downloaded folder with it's files in there.

The last screen tells you how to make Minecraft call all the functions in main.mcfunction 20 times a second. You would use this command in your world: /gamerule gameLoopFunction bertiecrafter:loop

Thanks for reading and I hope that
this will help with your future downloads!

2 Update Logs

Update #2 : by Bertiecrafter 06/25/2017 5:32:52 amJun 25th, 2017

Squashed possible bugs with opening the explorer windows.

Made the path automatically save for next time, without asking.

Moved the file containing the saved path to %appdata%/.minecraft, this is also where the embedded installers for my (vanilla) mods save their path. Now they work perfectly together.

Changed the generated "bertiecrafter:main" function to "bertiecrafter:loop". This way I can still create my own folder with a "main" function inside it, if I ever want to. Also the embedded installers for my (vanilla) mods will use this new function. As I said, they work perfectly together.

First off, note that it's for Minecraft 1.11 only and unfortunately, it has nothing to do with World Edit.

It's a script that allows you to easily modify world save folders to include functions and structure files. This tool was created during the "One-command creations" era of Minecraft, soon followed by datapacks (I think 1.13+?). Datapacks can also contain functions and structure files, but are bundled together so you can just drop them in and play instantly, making this tool unnecessary.
