Totally Lit for Fabric

Requires Fabric API and Cloth Config API! MUST be installed on the CLIENT and SERVER!

Some light sources can extinguish under various conditions. By default ALL supported light sources extinguish in a single Minecraft day.

When Totally Lit is stable (v1.0.0) I will port the latest features to older versions such as 1.17.x, 1.16.x, and 1.15.x.

Supported Light Sources

1. Campfires.
   
2. Candles.
3. Jack O'Lanterns.
4. Lanterns.
5. Torches.

Torches are easily manipulated by water and heat, making it suitable for wet adventures with little to no gear. While holding an unlit torch simply right-click fire, lit torches, lava cauldrons, or blocks adjacent to lava. You can also place unlit torches on a campfire, or place them in a crafting grid besides lit torches. Or right-click placed unlit torches with a lit torch/flint and steel in your hand.

Lanterns (Jack O'Lanterns included!) aren't easily manipulated. They're protected from rain and external heat sources. You could try to dip your lantern in lava, but it would come back a molten mess, so no use in trying. Just right-click with a flint and steel and you have light!

Just like torches when exposed to the rain candles will extinguish (by default).

Campfires now have an unlit state by default.

Wading, swimming, or fully submerging yourself in water can cause light sources in your inventory to extinguish, keep that in mind. Being out in the rain for too long can cause your torches to extinguish!

Glowstone lanterns and torches are mid/late game items which are waterproof and never die out.

And finally, unlike most mods, Totally Lit gets it right, it causes light sources spawned by structures to extinguish!
