This datapack allows you to void any item that you want. Gone... Forever (a long time)

    How to use:

Craft the Trash Can with one chest, five cobblestone and three stone. Place the Trash Can anywhere in the world and throw all your garbage in it. The Trash Can also works, when there is no player nearby, so you can use this to get rid off all the excess items from farms that you don't need. You can pump in items with a hopper.

There are three different versions of this datapack available:

    1.:
The 1.13.x version will work in any 1.13 version. To run, it requires the NBT-Crafting Table datapack made by Stevertus and my general datapack for right-click detection.

    2.:
The vanilla 1.14.x version will work in any 1.14 version. To run, it requires the NBT-Crafting Table datapack made by Stevertus and my general datapack for right-click detection.

    3.:
The fabric 1.14.x version will work in any 1.14 version. To run, it requires the Fabric Launcher, the Fabric API and the NBT Crafting Mod made by Siphalor and my general datapack for right-click detection.

To install the datapack just download and extract the ZIP-archive. Place your desired version of the datapack in the datapacks folder of the world you want it to be applied to and type /reload into the in-game chat.

    Note:
With this datapack comes no ressourcepack. The carrot on a stick that you craft has the NBT {CustomModelData:6}, so you can create a ressourcepack that gives any Carrot on a Stick with this CustomModelData the texture that you want. There are plenty of tutorials out there on how to do that.

You should use cobblestone or netherrack for the demonstration as they're the common waste products from mining and digging paths or tunnels.

I cannot, for the life of me, get the custom texture to not appear floating way above the actual chest.
I love how well this would work otherwise.
Using the fabric version with the NBT crafting mod.

^ And that's after I put the texture a whole block below the normal Y in the model creator. Anything further causes the JSON to error out.

I did watch the tutorials, and I'm at a complete loss as to how to get the texture to line up with the chest.

Looking at the functions in the datapack didn't get me very far either, I'm not sure I could reposition the item or the armor stand holding it.

Could you point me in the right direction? Because this is extremely handy otherwise.

Ok, so the Carrot on a Stick (CoaS) is on the head of the Armor Stand. What I did is I looked at the project that I got it from. It is Stevertus NBT Crafting Table. Then I went into the free modeling software "Blockbench" and created a model for the block and just adjusted the "translation" part of "head" to [0, -33, 0]. If this, for some reason doesn't work in "Blockbench" just open the .json file and edit the values manually.

    I hope I could help you ;)

Holy crap, of course! It's on the head and the stand is on top of the chest... So adjusting how it appears as a hat is a super simple fix. That makes so much sense. Thank you!
