Maryland and West Virginia were the last two members of the Colorado class battleships.
Both ships are as they would have appeared on the morning of December 7th, 1941. Both ships were in battleship row and both ships received very different kinds of damage.
Maryland had been hit by a bomb but was pinned in her mooring by the overturned Oklahoma right next to her. She was recommissioned after a small refit in 1942 and fought till the end of the war.
West Virginia was on the outside of her mornings and had been hit with multiple torpedos and sank. She was taken in to be rebuilt, which massively changed her overall appearance and returned just in time to lead the battle of surigao strait.
Both ships were decimissioned in 1947 and scrapped in 1958.
