Make your life better (MYLB) is a datapack series created by Nphhpn, provides many interesting features in minecraft vanilla.


Datapacks:


1.Tree chopper:
  • What it does: Allow you to chop down a tree just by breaking one log block by golden axe (or a enchanted iron axe named super axe, I added it just for fun)
  • Currently: Chop tree by golden axe; Break nearby leaves; Detect root and branches: Optional.
  • Planning: Break whole tree; Reduce durability depends on blocks broken.
  • Note: The breaking progress can't be stopped.

2.Better Furnace

  • What it does: Make furnaces upgradeable!
  • Currently: Speed : Smelt faster; Efficiency: Fuel last longer; Recipe: Smelt more things; Eco: Save fuel when not smelting.
  • Planning: Add more upgrades.
  • Instruction: Drop upgrades on top of furnace to apply.
3.More Enchantments

  • What it does: Add many enchantments to minecraft.
  • Currently: 17 custom enchantments!
  • Planning: Add more enchantments and improve existed ones.
4. Upcoming: Potion Plus (Stopped)

How to use:

1.Extract the.zip file.
2.Move the datapacks you want to .minecraft/saves/<Your World>/datapacks. Main datapack is required.

Tree Chopper

v1.1.1: No more /reload in game. Fixed a bug causes Recipe Upgrade and Eco Upgrade not working.
More Enchantments
v1.1.0: Change fail rate form 10%/enchantment to 20%/enchantment. Sky Faller now use slow falling effect instead of resistance.
v1.1.1: No more /reload in game.
Main
v1.1.0: Added Main datapack
v1.1.1: No more /reload in game.


Important Note:
Compatible with multiplayer.
Type /trigger mainGuide to get the detailed guide!
Everything is enabled by default!

I'm back! While I left, people already developed facny version of Tree Chopper and More Enchantments, so I'll only release a simple version of Tree Chopper for potato computers. Better Furnace will be updated to 1.14 and less laggy!

Datapack is great, loving all the enchantments, the only problem is that the custom enchantments module increases the TPS to about 5! Is there a way to make this less CPU heavy?

Sorry for the late reply. I'm going to rewrite Better Furnace datapack to make it more performance friendly. Because there are already fancy version of Tree Chopper and More Enchantments, I'll only release a simple version of Tree Chopper for potato computers with basic features.

hey when using your data pack my integrated server "ms ticks" goes from 20+ to 500-1000 D:

I really like the enchantments in this data pack and was wondering why its making my world lag so bad? ( not frame drops or anything just everything takes so long to do now)

update: I tried removing one by one, even just one of the features is enough to make the it lag :(

Not working on 1.13.2 Multiplayer Server (PaperSpigot 1.13.2 Build 437). You can't just extract the folders to the world\datapacks folder. https://pastebin.com/ZVLmR5Pk
The error is pointing to the distance value in main.mcfunction file

Not sure if I have completely 100% everything turned on, but nothing will actually work. I have the advanced cdrafting table, but cant make any furnace upgrades/ use the golden axe. It says "mainEnable set to 0", which I believe turns everything on, as well as the better furnaces. I can't actually get anything to work except making the advanced crafting table.

Try /reload. I can't access to my computer now, so I can't test yet, but theoretically it may not work fine in the first load, but it will work in the second or third load.

Would it be possible for you to divide each of these up into separate data packs? Also I tried using your golden axe one and it would not work. The commands went through and displayed but when I got to chop down a tree it does not do the whole tree.

Maybe the version you uses is v3.1. That version has a bit struggle with cutting big tree. Download the latest version and that bug is fixed. Latest version also provide a way to turn each feature on/off. Or maybe you need more beefy computer. If it's too laggy, this datapack won't work. Btw, you can seperate this pack into many datapacks yourself easily with some changes in minecraft/tags/functions folder. Each feature work individually, so you can simply delete a feature without affect others.

Using 3.3 (downloaded it 2 seperate times now) Both times having no luck, tried using both the command and the book to enable it. Using minecraft 1.13.1, its not laggy at all either. I've tried on two computers the one was questionable but with no lag still and the other would have no problem with this.
