My first post, which means i'm proud enough of what i have here that i'm going through the trouble of uploading it :)
I have constructed a prototype for a Minecart Station using the booster rails now included in beta 1.5. nothing very complex here with the redstone or the tracks themselves; just some careful arranging and laying out of buttons. Hopefully the pictures explain the concept better than i can here.
Once loaded/complete(as it appears in the pictures) simply press the 'call cart' button to recieve a minecart. Hop in and using the switch in front of you, choose to 'embark' instead of 'load cart'. Now simply hit the button to your right and you're off down the track. the next time you come to your station, you can simply call for another cart. This small design has room for four loaded carts.
once out of carts to call, or whenever your would like to load one; place the cart on the sloped booster that they come to rest on once called. use lever to select 'load cart' and press the button to the right. The track switches and the cart is loaded back into the station. You will need to use the 'call' button to move the carts over each time you want to load a cart. place. switch. send. 'call'/slide first cart over. then repeat.
I again apologize for the likely confusing explanation and i hope that not only is it more clear in the pictures, but that it will serve some purpose to one of you :) Feedback is always appreciated.
